Might as well just change the brush out. It’s easy and may fix the problem. They are cheap from the dealer.

I still have my stock alt. The one I'm running right now is the HO 240a. It's like 4 years old I think. Maybe 5.

Put the other spacer and bypass on, now I just need the motivation to pull coil overs to take the coils off and cycle everything. I can totally tell already that I'm going to need to cut some stuff, potentially my bumper.

Not for nothing, I planned for 37s eventually when I built my bumper. Thanks to JDFab moving my shit forward I am going to have to modify the bumper.
Shit happens.

Yeah I've been good with whatever the SCS offset is I have, but with the 1.5" spacer it's pushed out. I'll have to catch one of the guys with a welder to fix the end caps after I cut the shit off. Shouldn't be too much to cut off hopefully.

The fun part will be making these fit because as you can see the johnny joints I'm running on my links have already spread the mount out.

my pleasure! sorry those took so long - I was thinking that product was cursed there for a minute!

(looking forward to burning my pair on as well)

Well worth the wait man. Can't wait to get these things welded on.

Okay, dealing with a stutter during idle, super noticeable and damned near feels like a vacuum issues but all my hoses are good. Just cleaned the intake boxes thinking clogged, but airflow is clear.

I'm not throwing any codes, but I feel like this just started while the runner sat with a bad battery for 6 months before I swapped the battery. No wires are chewed up.

I'm reading it could be the ignition coils or spark plugs so I'm replacing those next unless anyone has ideas before I put the order in tomorrow morning.
