Any tire swingout plans in the works?

I'm going to design the pivot mounts (one on each side) and let end users design their own swingouts for whatever they want/need. I prefer a clean bumper without things hanging off of it, but I get that it's a good spot for stuff. :)

The side wings are definitely on point. Anybody putting 35’s on after this bumper is mounted may have to cut that area. So it looks like you had the foresight to tweak it ahead of time, nice touch.

I got a LOT of input on that; here and IG. That's why I throw in-progress photos out there; you guys are a ton of help.

I keep being told the ring is not strong enough and will break or whatnot from multiple reputable resources. I have yet to deem if you are a reputable source.:drum:
I broke two sets of 4.30 gears, and the 5.29's I broke were from what I believe was an install error. The side adjuster just pushed out of the threads. Only reason ring gear teeth broke where because the pinion was barely touching the edge of the teeth.
5.29's are definitely weaker than 4.88's on paper, but that extra gearing helps with throttle control. I'll take the extra torque over the small amount of strength gains. 4.30 gears are supposed to be even stronger than 4.88's, and I still broke two sets...
4.88 for 5spd yeah?
(Some of us still know how to use a clutch..)
Only old people and wanna be racecar drivers think that a standard manual trans is better... :flipoff:

They're called Millennial anti-theft devices for a reason. :drum:

yeah, you gonna criticize @4runner DOA too? lol

I get more than enough shit from him and the ratpack group that I wheel with behind the scenes. Besides my 4runner and Tacoma are both autos. :anon:

I have however been driving manual vehicles as long as @AssBurns has been out of diapers and currently have a 5 speed Jetta in the driveway.
