what are you using as a latch for the swingout? @4runner DOA needs a solution for his

I haven't done a swingout - just the hinge. My bumper doesn't really have vertical faces where folks would need them to be for a swingout hinge, so I felt like I needed to make the hinge mount/assembly for those guys who want to build swingouts...

I haven't made one myself. (my spare is going in the hatch)

I still have that last one bookmarked that you sent me. I should probably buy it while I'm taking care of parts orders.
One wasn’t being made anymore. Don’t remember which one I sent last

I'm looking for a bumper too... aux tank crossmember already ordered. Looking at this tank kit

The pump will just be a transfer pump and I'll probably FATS vent it.

Rather not reroute my exhaust if I can avoid it tho

Bump. Apparently 2 months was not in the cards for me as other things came up with life. I still have not found any other options I like as much as this one. I do need the swing out tho. Finally got the 4runner into full toy mode tho so it took a little back seat on mods and concentrated on maintenance. It's almost time. Just need to crank some cc debt down which won't take long. Where is the recommended area to mount the hinge for the swingout? Since it's not completely vertical... I have no problem either mounting horizontal so the tire goes the ground and gives me a stair case to get in the back.

Anyone heard from @eimkeith lately? Is he OK?

I'm here! I have this weird issue about getting notifications from forums - so I miss a lot nowadays.

I'm a little thin at the moment, too - so the next bumper run will probably be mid-summer. I lost a lot of time/$ to hackers killing the website (January) and having to defend my stuff against counterfeits on Amazon & eBay (this month) on top of the up-fit in the new spot, so I'm kinda slow in 2023.

That said, I *may* take a bit and design some dual swingouts (most likely stubs - I really don't want to get involved with every possible variation of accessory mount/hangers that folks may want) for the bumper before I start on the front bumper designs. That would be late summer, most likely, before I could start showing my work in that area. :)

Yo! OK just seeing and checking on you. I threw you a email to get on the list and didn't see anything comeback so just making sure you got it. And if you do a swingout I will take one so I don't need to design one. I just want it for a tire. Not all the extras. Good to see you're moving shops and sucks about the hackers and copy catters
