Just don't open carry it around @Hank or @Mike_taco4x4 apparently I was making them uncomfortable in calico.

I'll be concealed. Or at least I plan to be legally. My sheriff is a pretty cool guy so I don't see it being an issue getting approved.

@Itaro

I have no need for a beaver tail but it is what it is. I have never noticed any accuracy improvement with or without one. I've never caught the slide on my hand without one and I like the "feel' of not having one.

I open carry at camp because we're still allowed to.

Prefer concealed over open any day.

But I'll take what I can get.

Sig P229 .40. I'd prefer the Nitron Compact but I'll end up with the Enhanced Elite Cali Compliant.
Don’t waste your time on a .40 just get a 9mm and be done. Cheaper, better accuracy, and easier to get ammo. And stopping power is a dumb excuse for potentially less mag capacity and less accuracy.

It had nothing to do with you open carrying. It was because we were all very drunk and shouldn’t be waving around a pistol in that situation.

Why you gotta throw logic at shit when I'm making fun of mike and Kyle for being pussies? I also wasn't waving shit around. Haha. I talked to Mike about the whole situation a little later and I understand where he's coming from. Isn't gonna keep me from carrying though in high risk areas.

So some positive stuff. Leupold customer service took care of me.

Backstory: I found a couple of leupold scopes in my dad’s old stuff. Two Vari-X III 3.5-10. One is in decent shape so I use it and it’s great. The second was difficult to adjust and had a nick on the glass. So I figured why the hell not and sent it to leupold to be RMA’ed

Six weeks later this shows up via brown Santa:

Glad I didn’t jump the gun and get a 1” mount...

bull shit.

Prove it. :flipoff:

Considering the fact that I moved seats or got up from the fire every time you decided to unholster that should be proof enough. It wasn't the smoke or me needing to take a piss that caused those moves. It was me trying to get out of the line of fire if there was an accidental discharge.

I've shot with both @Hank and @Mike_taco4x4 before when we where all drunk. We still managed to keep the barrel down range and follow most gun handling protocols. Just because you can whip it out doesn't mean you should.

The whole one time I unholstered it, dropped the magazine, and cleared it like a responsible gun owner?

In my book there are no accidental discharges. If it misses me by a foot or an inch you will receive what you hand out.

It was more then one time and I never saw you drop the clip or cycle the slide.

You were also a lot drunker than I was. I was standing right next you when I cleared it, cycled it, pulled the trigger while pointing at the other side, and pulled the slide back before asking you if you wanted to check it out.
