Threw my Surefire railed handguard back on the Benelli M4
Put the Hayley Strategic Throntail mount and Surefire M600 on it.
Some Magpul low pro rail covers (because raw rails hurt my hands)
Top it off with a Magpul Angled Fore Grip

For a while now have been going back and forth over what to buy, I need a total of 5 scopes for weapons that will be lost in tragic boating accidents. I read a ton of reviews, had some great advice and will pick up a few different scopes from manufactures A-Z
So the first one came in today. https://arkenopticsusa.com/EP4-6-24X50-FFP-MOA-EPR-Reticle-with-Zero-Stop-34mm-Tube-p176770946 was the first one since it is A in the alphabet (pretty scientific choice pats self on back)
First impressions so far, but a bit of a back story, I have owned Bushnell, Burris, Leupold, and Zeiss rifle scopes, I have shot with BSA, Redfield and Simmons. The body of the scope machine detail and finish are as good as the Leupold and Zeiss I owned, the optical clarity is on Par with the Leupold and not quiet Zeiss. I am so far impressed, will mount and sight it in soon, debating tossing it on the Ruger Hawkeye 6.5 Creedmoor or the Savage 110 7mm-08 or the 30-06 *shrug* will figure it out soon.

AR500 plates are garbage. Ironic that they're talking about what manufacturers aren't telling you. Their claims on the spall protective coating is bullshit. You take a rifle round to one of those plates and you're gonna be spitting out bits of metal for a while if the spalling doesn't just kill you.
They also aren't NIJ certified. They are "independently tested" which is worthless.

I'm FAR from an expert. If I had to buy plates for myself I'd look around for a deal on some level 3+ ceramic plates or UHMWPE if budget was a serious issue.
This post is a good explanation of why AR500 armor sucks and has some suggestions for better alternatives.

@Dukestaco i picked up the Taurus G3C yesterday for $239. Seems like it’s built much better then the G2C. I sold my G2C a few months ago and I wanted to try this new one. I’ll report back

Cleaned all the bolt guns yesterday and used the Bore Tech polisher, I am a fan of the bore tech stuff. Working on the pistols today. 
My wife got a G3C about a month ago. It's an awesome little gun. I like it so much I'm looking for a G3 for myself but they are all sold out at the gunshops near me. Looks to me like it's pretty much a Glock clone without the Glock price

Yea I liking the fit and finish and being half the price of a Glock is nice. I only bought it cause I needed a 9mm to add to my collection cause I can never seem to keep a 9mm. Glad you like it I may hold on to it or just get a Glock 19 or 43x when they come back into stock. As I accidentally found this one at my local Bi Mart
Is the trigger better than the G2C? That was the bad part on the G2C. If they improved on that on the 3 then it’s going to be a solid 9. After the trigger work and polishing on the trigger bar,striker block on my G2C that baby is butter to shot.
yeah it's a different trigger. the center blade folds all the way into the trigger on the G3C.
I have never fired a G2C but from the Youtube videos I have seen It's an all around better trigger than the G2C
That’s sounds good. I replaced the stock trigger with one from Keeptinkering.
