Initially I thought it may have been the proprietary SB brace which is different the the SBA3 but the ATF also went after the sugar weasel which has the SBA3. The ATF letter doesn't mention anything technical like LOP or overall length or vertical foregrip etc. Only implies that the Q marketing on the website implies its designed to be shouldered. I was actually looking at the website the other night and didn't see anything that stuck out as implying shoulder fired. No brace in quotes or pics of it being shouldered etc.

This is a slippery one that could have massive ramifications on all AR pistols. Hopefully the ATF has already dug their own grave with previous letters on braces and shouldering. Part of me wants them to reverse their cease and desist another part of me wants this to be decided by the courts who decide to tell the ATF to go fuck themselves permanently.

I get it and I see where we (the gun community) went wrong:
We kept poking the bear. Yes I know gun laws are bullshit but the BATFE changed their stance on pistol braces a while back and we rejoiced. The original ones could be used incorrectly on the shoulder. But then a telescoping one was developed and started to look more and more like a normal stock

now the line has been moved again. Changing these laws is a long game and the 2A community pushed too hard
I think it was a marketing mistake and Q should address it as such. The manufacturers shouldn’t say it’s a 7.5, 10.5 rifle length barrel. They need to say 7.5, 10.5 pistol length barrel. Change telescoping to adjustable arm brace. It’s all in the wording. The manufacturers overhyped their products and here we are.
mid a man can be a woman and a woman can be a man my Ar can be a pistol.
Midget AR lives matter.

How's the slide on the I'm compiling a list of carry guns for the wife. She really struggles with the slide on my 19x. She loves the feel and easy slide stop function of the vp9 and struggles less with that slide. The canik looks similar to the vp9 slide stop
I just need to talk her into more old fashions to get the grip strength up ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The slide on the g43 is pretty easy.
