I'm sure it needs some oil and a cleaning. For comparison my dad's been dead 16 years. I don't think I've actually shot it since I was like 15, that was 25 years ago. Haha.
I wouldn't sweat it as long as the bores clear. My best rimfire gun is a 100 + year old Remington model 4 that hasn't seen a bore brush in at least 30 years

Sweet old girl, looks like an old 3 screw.

Unfortunately I don't have too much history on it. Likely from the 70s, maybe late 60s. Was pretty clean. My dad may have cleaned it at some point. I honestly have no idea if he ever took it out shooting again after the time he took me. The 90s were great, he used to shoot blanks in the back yard to scare the cats out of the yard, haha. Do that shit now the swat team will be at your door in 5 minutes.

Still needs some oil on the ejection rod, but otherwise shoots exactly like I remember.

That's the nice thing about revolvers. They don't really get fucked up unless they rust. Leave them loaded in a safe for half a century and they will work like they did when it was put in the safe. I want a .22 revolver. Such great guns to take shooting.
