Picked up the Bergara today, hopefully getting glass in the next week or two.

Side note, first gun I’ve bought in AZ, after moving back from CA. In and out in 15 minutes including my background check, just needed my drivers license, what a breath of fresh air.

Beautiful piece of steel. In the center of the picture is your Arizona protection on the right side is your California protection.

Just .308, first bolt gun so didn't wanna go too crazy. As far as glass, I'm between a Nikon Black fx1000, Vortex Viper PST II, or Nightforce SHV. Just need to go look through them side by side and figure out which one I like best. I figure I have a good, better, best set of options but in reality they're all excellent and probably slightly overkill for me, at least right now.

All good options! I have a couple of Nikons and Nightforce and both are great glass, Nightforce is 10X better but for the money you can't beat Nikon. The Nightforce SHV is a great scope and have looked through a couple which wants me to replace the Zeiss I have on my 300 win mag.
Enjoy!

Just my opinion but First Focal Plane scope is the number one feature you want on the scope.

Totally agree, they all are ffp. I'll probably end up with the Vortex (got a hook up), but figured I'd shop around a bit and get a feel for different manufacturers

Good man.

When I first started shooting precision rifle EVERYONE shot Nightforce because they were rock solid. Then EVERYONE realized SFP sucked donkey balls. It took Nightforce FOREVER to release a FFP scope.

Vortex really stepped up the game by being a relatively inexpensive, relatively solid, FFP scope.
I hear the Bushnell FFP scopes are pretty good but have never used one.

I currently have a Kahles on my stick. But the poor thing hasn't been shot in like 2 years. :(

Picked up the new full semi automatic grenade launching pistol today. Got 150rds of Ruger full metal jacket ammo for $30. That a good deal?

It's not terrible. I generally look for about 18 cents a round for 9mm. Think I paid 73 for 400 rounds at Walmart not too long ago. Don't overthink it. The XD will shoot just about anything. Aluminum casing for range days and steel case for desert shooting. I use brass for my hollow points.
