Ok Osama bin dead. Looks nice. You should do a Paracord wrap on the top stock tube for a semi comfortable check rest.SRO came in today for the ak, went with it solely cause it looks like a mini kobra lol. Probably all I'll do to this except maybe a different pistol grip and maybe a can down the road

Don’t have a CCW but I’ve talked to a few people that have oneok without getting too much into this because its a pending case, but had an incident last week where I needed a firearm after being assaulted. A taser would not have been sufficient. 2 vs 1 with weapons. so...
CCW time. anyone here CCW in California and willing to share your story with me privately? I would greatly appreciate it.

so you’re in a good county to get one. Will likely need to take a class and have a just-cause statement to present to the sheriff. Having a police report of the incident will likely help. Also you will likely need to list and qualify with the specific firearms you want to CCW. Better not modify them to make them more “deadly”. The class you take will explain that
It takes a hard heart to kill. I wish you luckthank you for the info. being CA, even though its a violent crime, this POS is out walking in fresh air and sunshine. I don't feel safe anymore. It's insane. call me whatever but this event rocked me to my core. ptsd for sure, haven't slept much, nightmares, can't get it out my head. how could a lil POS cause this much grief, I never imagined it would be me. police department here has cut 20+ officers, there are only about 5-6 on service at a time now for a city of 75k. INSANE.
It's like the Rona. Some can handle it. Some can't.It takes a hard heart to kill. I wish you luck
Sleepless nights either way you would have gone with that.thank you for the info. being CA, even though its a violent crime, this POS is out walking in fresh air and sunshine. Even people who are trained to kill can have issues with it (veterans with PTSD)Look at some of BJ Baldwin's posts after having to use lethal force last month in Vegas for some insight to the aftermath
It's definitely easy to sit behind a keyboard and say better them than me and I include myself in that general statement but the reality is until we're forced with that decision we'll never know how we'll react to the fact that i just ended or permanently altered someone's life. All one can do is train ourselves the best we can to be able to make the correct decision if that unfortunate time should come that way you hopefully won't be on the end of living with making the wrong decision
Oh, come on, be honest. It does get easier!Once you watch a few people die, you kinda get used to it
I jest
I’ll tell you the truth around a campfireOh, come on, be honest. It does get easier!
Just kidding!
so true. the other thing burning in my mind is I'll take that burden befo I allow my wife to become a widow and go through that. we've been together 20yrs this year. no way I'm letting anyone take that from either us.Even people who are trained to kill can have issues with it (veterans with PTSD)

Well said.It takes a hard heart to murder.
@kasnerd
It takes training and a solid mindset to defend oneself and others.
If your defending yourself the end result may be someone dies. At the same time if you don't defend yourself then you may be the one who dies + others the bad guy attacks in the future.
Not saying the decision is easy to pull the trigger by any means. Even if it is easy at the time you need to mentally prepare yourself for after the fact.

if that's what it takes, that's what it takes. there's nothing that would keep me from coming home now. it's a burden for sure and not something shirk. been around firearms since childhood. I am a gun safety jerk. Stopped being friends with a guy because he brought out his piece. slapped it on the table " here check this out...its unloaded" he's high and drunk. so am I. immediately put myself between him and the gun because I can see the safety is off. I asked again. Was this loaded before you brought it out.... "no". picked it up, put the safety on and pulled the slide back. BINK there's the hot round bouncing on the tile. Handed the gun to his wife and called a cab. unfknblvlbl.
