Yeah, yeah. Any more excuses you'd like to throw into the ring? lol

So I've been doing a little reading and it appears there is damn work being started at Fordyce Lake. That should mean flows will remain mellow until the snow flies.
That would explain why the flows have been lower than historical averages the last couple of weeks despite it being hot as fuck for several days.

Apparently it snowed up in the northern Sierras today or yesterday

There's a chance of snow in Mammoth on Thursday but it'll be a dusting if it happens. Fordyce is at about 7500' at the high point. We'll be fine. Other then breaking shit I don't see any problems. 11.5 miles total with about 6 of that being oh shit territory.

Where the hell is @AssBurns I thought for sure he'd be all over this trip.

Seriously fuck you guys!
You guys always plan shit when I’m not ready or available. If it wasn’t 10 hours away, I’d probably say fuck yes. Maybe if it was a 3 day weekend. Fuck off

You've been not ready all fucking summer. lol

If it wasn’t for the long drive on a short weekend, then I’d be down. 20 hours of driving in a short weekend isn’t worth it for me

Yeah. I get it. This trip was always going to be short notice. The plan has been to wait till the floor rates go down then do it. The flow rates are down so it's getting done.

Yeah I would.
They would be fine. I wouldn’t haha

I’ve done those drives before and it kills me when I have to do it after work then no time to recover.

I try not to make Robbie sit in the car longer than 6 hours at a time, even with stops. I couldn't imagine 10 hours driving. My back starts to hurt after 4-5.

Why we can't make it on these trips?

Would you drive 20 hours out of a 60 hour weekend to go wheeling for a day?
I never understood why people post saying why they can’t make it. That’s just stupid. No one gives a fuck why you CANT be there especially when it’s an invitation to anyone.

@theesotericone @Tetten hit me up Sunday when y'all are headed back down i80 and we can grab dinner or lunch in Sacramento. I already have plans Saturday so I cannot make it.
I'm going to end up driving up through Sacramento in the dark on Friday night, and then I'll probably drive back down 395 on the way home and camp somewhere in the eastern Sierras Sunday night. If I end up coming back down I5 I'll let you know.
