Frozen ball joint

Anyone have any thoughts on how to get a frozen LCA ball joint out? Arm is on the bench. It's like fucking welded in there. I soaked it in pb blaster over night still not budging. I don't have a big press, but short of 100 ton I don't think it's coming out.

Threw heat and 380 lbs of torque wrench at it. Might have to call around and see who's got a bigger press.

MORE HEAT!! Also try to give it a good whack with a BFH while it has some heat on it. That'll help break it loose. I just did this on my brothers 4th gen a few weeks ago. Shouldn't be too hard.

Yeah stock LCAs. This one hasn't even been on the truck for 2 years so it shouldn't be that bad.

Ill try the heat and whack method. I've already beat the fuck out of it with my 5lb sledge trying to get it let go. Haha

I heated it up while it was under pressure from one of the tools I have. I'm hesitant to use too much heat on it.

So I use acetone and atf mixed together and applied to the whole area. Let stand 20min, heat till you think oh shit that’s hot, quench in same fluid and try again and again. Never quite, show that fucker who’s the man
