Yeah I'm not happy about it. Haven't caught him at home since I turned it on. Should have checked when it came home. Granted I got it for free and this gives me a reason to upgrade, but it's more money than I want to spend since I just dropped a bunch on my rifle build.

I literally have a ratchet for a 10mm and a 12mm the sockets never come off of

Shit I'm prolly the only mechanic out there that has extra 10mm. I seem to have a knack for finding tools lost by other guys. Toolbox has all kinds of shit with other people names scribed on them. My best find so far has been a led streamlight stinger that I use camping. That way if I lose it it's not too bad

This is unrelated to the 10 meter socket..
Once here at work we had some guys attempting to rebuild a stand hydraulic cylinder. They're like 10' long when collapsed 3" cylinders, it needed new end seals and a wiper.. no big deal. We had the second shift guys working on it because, well, we needed the cylinder on first shift to run production. So they spend like 2 hours working on it and finally give up and call someone. The first words out of their mouth were "We have this hooked up to the JLG and a tractor trailer, but it still won't come apart!"
I believe the first words out of the supervisors' mouth were stop fucking everything and I'll be right there.
Come to find out they left all the external bolts still attached. It was the externally pinned style so 4x 3/4" rods holding the whole mess together.

Seriously, quit fucking around with ball joint LCAs. Switching to uniball upper and lower is literally the best thing I ever did to my truck.
Not currently in the budget unless I get a large child support payment or a job. Or unless @Mike_taco4x4 sells me his for cheap.

Unskilled mechanics start at like $16/hr, skilled obviously higher. Production starts at 11 caps at 19.
Keeping in mind it costs a hell of a lot less to live here than in the city.
