Only thing that changed is the spring rate on the front for the turd gens.
Next thread. Hey guys just had my shop install my lift kit and my truck doesn't drive well.
Awww the snowflake thinks his truck is special and unique :rofl:
Just WOW!!!:doh: I mean, I have questions and ask as well about things I am not sure of and all, but Jesus H???!!! I mean seriously, WTF???!!! That quote is right, "thinks his truck is special...":rofl::rofl::bash: It really is scary these people drive along side us as well!!!:boltout::peep: Just say'n. :noidea:

Most definitely not defending the guy, but back around '97, if I remember right, Ford, for example, came out with a SUPER RETARDED 7-lug on their, I believe, F-150 series for like 1yr, or so.

The point is though is that this could easily be searched when it comes to the point blank specifics. :noidea:

I was listening to the AM commie radio station, KNX, the other day and there was a segment about how kids these days were complaining that they were, "never taught how to change a tire... use a microwave..." and I just about lost my shi* when I heard that???!!! Nobody showed and/or taught me how to do my brakes, use my Astro telescopes, etc etc etc!!! I mean, good F'N GOD MAN???!!!:rockthrow:

I grew up in the dark ages of the internet. Youtube and Google didn't exist.

When I needed to change my rear drums and brakes on my first truck at 17 I just did it. No help and no fucking clue. It was hysterical. Springs almost took out eyes. Knuckles where basked. Brake lines were bent and flare nuts where rounded off. Basically it was a great time.

I'd love to say I got it all back together and made it work. I didn't. What I did do was call my buddy Dennis who is a mechanic. He came over and we had a few beers while he showed me how that system went back together properly. I also learned that doing one side at a time is the way to go. I took apart both instead. It all went back together and I learned a lot that day.

So, what's the point of all that? Fast forward to today and you can google "77 F250 rear brake job" and get all the info you could possibly need to do it including about 100 youtube vids. There's more knowledge at your fingertips then at any time in history. There's also a website for just about anything and everything. Some people are just fucking lazy and would rather be spoon fed then use all that info to answer there own questions without looking like a complete moron. That's OK. Morons make me laugh. As long as I'm not the one dealing with them. lol

Me to Them: You grew up with fucking YouTube. Try watching the stuff that actually teaches you something instead of stupid TidePod Challenges or IceBucket Challenges.

With that said I have been watch so much stuff around car A/C lately since I have a leak somewhere. The cost of the equipment to properly extract the refrigerant and recharge the system is half the cost of the labor I was quoted to replace the evap core under the dash.

And these fucktards are complaining about not being "taught" how to change a tire or use a microwave.

The sad part is that these were high school kids they were interviewing just about to "graduate" and head off to college and that they, the students, "didn't feel ready for adulthood"??? Not knowing how to use a microwave, at that age, just completely F'N dumbfounded me???!!! :confused2::doh:

I have been telling my kids and my kids friends for many years now. When they ask me how to do something. I ask them if the have a smart phone? The answer is always yes. I then tell them. Unfortunately a smart phone is only as smart as it's user.

I was fortunate growing up. My dad was mechanically inclined. My grampa ran a shop, my uncle's all worked on their own cars. I learned by watching and asking for help. I also took auto shop for 4 periods my senior year of high school. We had service manuals and that was it. I've been working on cars since I was 18 and I plan on Robbie being able to work on his own too.

I grew up and watched my dad wrench because he didn’t have the money to pay someone else to do it. I tried to fix some things, learned the basics, found out that fucking things up could cost more than paying someone else to do it to begin with and that I couldn’t afford to do that. So I lost interest beyond the basic maintenance and went back to chasing girls and jerking off.

Now I’m older and can afford to repair some fuck ups and jerk off a lot less I’ve found that I still don’t like to overpay for repairs so I’ll bribe people who know wtf they’re doing by stuffing them full of Korean meat
