It sounds like they would have eventually made their money back. That guy was a turd though for that entire situation. I remember the first group run I went on with TW up to the Big Bear area that Mahalo set up. I rode along in my brother's truck and I just remember that we kept laughing at, not with, him for just about every little thing and trolling him on the comms.

Perhaps. I talked to him enough to know this scene is something he picked up late in life and it consumed him rather quickly. Maybe just oblivious to how he is perceived.
I’m pretty sure he knows how everyone feels about him . I caught him talking shit about me for something I had nothing to do with . Next time he should turn around and who is standing there before he runs his mouth

I was going to put a bid in for 10k. What would my ROI be? Not a bad idea to pool some monies together.

I'd say it honestly depends how many bumpers are actually in there. The pictures we've all seen don't show the whole story of what's actually in the warehouse. I've been discussing it with a couple different groups. Once the warehouse is opened for people to get in to actually see the inventory is when you'll know what it's worth.

Wonder have many bumpers there are and if they are finished. If there were 40 finished bumpers 10k would be a good buy price if you can still sell them for roughly $1k a bumper plus shipping.

From the pics and description of the inventory I would think that there is close to if not more than 200k there. You would have to pick it up for 40 to 50% of that price to make some $. The risk is in are they finished and no warranty. Then sell them at a discounted price say? $1500 for front and rear. You also have all the manufacturing equipment that you would sell for 50% of it's value.

30 to 40% would be the max I'd put into those bumpers. Not worth the headache to deal with all the problems to just make $100k. Just imagine trying to advertise selling those things. Still interested to see how much the auction gets up to.

Odds on a overly pissed off rich TWer dropping a couple hundred grand to get his order?!? :flamethrow:

10%. And I didn’t see where any equipment besides a scale was part of the auction

Never mind, just got to those photos

I’m curious i they have any computers there that have any CAD files or designs? That could be a nice little bonus for who ever buys it.

My issue with buying/flipping it, aside from money, would be having to play 20 questions with alot of the dummies asking if their 25”light bar would fit the 20” cut out or if they could mount a highlift to the hoops

Well the designs may still belong to the designers, depending on how they structured the company

I practically reverse engineered the rear standard bumper because I'm helping someone convert their to a high clearance.

Give me a day and I can have a whole bumper on cad if I can physically measure it. Add another day to crank out the drawings for the sheet metal shop.
