No clue. Seems very arbitrary honestly.

Some seem like track width was the limiting factor and others seem like a specific travel number was the criteria

Those are pretty much the two variables you have to play with, and based on the coilover location you have limits on down travel even with horizontal uniballs and 934 CVs.

Uniballs misalignment limits for the UCA are the other big issue.

Can't really read anything on that sheet, but +2 is based on track width limited races

That makes alot of sense, because from a performance perspective +2 is a definite looser, you can get almost as much from a +1, or shitload more from a +3.

I've been telling people for years that +2s only make sense for 2 types of people, those that race their shit and people that run a lot of narrow technical crawling trails. For everyone else it's a waste of money.... Most people don't listen though. They don't have much more travel than a stock set up, sure as hell not enough to justify thousands of dollars to the casual offroader.

On the flip side, I can get about the same travel from a +1 kit with horizontal uniballs as a +2 kit with normal uniballs.
