I think takeover is not happening in Panda Truck. Prototype LCA mocked up, now I need a spindle and UCA. Then I can build the real LCA, and out everything together.
Meh. Didn't bust his chops the first time I saw it in person. Likely will the second time thoThat’s okay. He’s bringing the Jeep. You can shit on him at will.
I'm bringing a Jeep to a Toyota event. Then not wheeling the Jeep (no armor yet, not doing RC without armor): so it's kind of expected.Meh. Didn't bust his chops the first time I saw it in person. Likely will the second time tho
Yeah, this is definitely a project I'm taking the time and doing it right. Quick and cheap are not really on the table. One hell of a project.
Shit takes time. So be it. The effort will be worth it in the long run.
Selling the bolt on version on TW is your penance for making me weld yours on.I knew that was coming. LOL. I'm making it worse for myself since you're welding mine on.
Also, we need to measure on yours to make the front foot attach farther forward, then the back leg shorter to still hit the frame in the same spot. Probably 2" shorter on the back leg.I knew that was coming. LOL. I'm making it worse for myself since you're welding mine on.
I really didn't think I had a choice either way.
Since I still can't set people's faces on fire over the phone I might as well burn something...@Arcticelf welding my sliders on while on a conference call. Brings a whole new meaning to multitasking.

Guess this means I am 1472# overweight?Saving this for later:
OEM the 2nd gen weighs 3900# for the base, 4200# for the DCLB. We weighed a stock DCLB and got 4300#, with 2500# on the front axle and 1800# on the rear axle.
Rated max payload is between 850# and 1200#, for a total weight of 5000#.
The OME Dakar pack is rated for 660# of constant load, and provides 2" of lift, but doesn't really increase the total payload capability.
We don't have a clear rating for the HD Panda pack, but based on our testing it's good for 1500# constant loads, and provides good performance with that weight. The down side is that when you completely empty the truck it will ride like an empty work truck...
Going to the raptor pack will give you the most performance, and the best ride, and can be adjusted for any load from OEM to 6500#.
Yup. Like most trucks he's over the limit 400 to 500 #.I'm pretty sure looked up the exact same information this morning to try to figure out how much armyhater is overloaded.
Even worse is he was only running the medium pack, no wonder it went negative arch.
Guess this means I am 1472# overweight?
