Yea i posted his stats before something like 14 mil to 7 different charities or more idk
I can totally see her suing it was already established that the pilot took flight against protocol with no copilot and it directly caused the fucking crash. Shitty that we have to weigh someone's life on what kind of impact they make but, realistically.....duh. I mean people die constantly and it's not on the news why the hell would it start now? Paul walker died and no one gave a shit about the driver because he was not a star. Say his name and no one would know who the hell you're talking about. That's not news. Did anyone know who Roger Rodas was before this? No, maybe a few select in the "community" but that's it. Kobe's daughters friends and their parents died too. Who the hell are they? Nobody. No impact. Just normal people. Of course they didnt make the news, only their families were affected.

Btw were all getting coronavirus just saw at least 1000 chinese people wearing masks coughing like crazy at the swearing in. Over 30,000 people in that god damn auditorium the end is nigh

So I've got a meeting at 7:30 Monday morning in our office.
"Should be an hour, but don't be surprised if it's a 90 minute type thing"

With that length I'd guess I'm not getting shitcanned anyway.
Not that I'm not shitting bricks here for the next 3 days about it.

Just 90 minutes of "YOU'RE A FUCKING IDIOT!"

Hahahahah

Side note: These fucking millwork monkeys are lucky as hell they picked my 25 dollar Stanley out of the pile and not my Stabila to do this shit with.

Still gave them shit.

I watch a channel on YouTube called “RR Buildings”. Guy in Northern Illinois building pole structures. He’s brilliant as hell. He has tons of Stabila equipment. Must be the bee’s knees.

Stabila is a great brand. Their motto for their levels is "go ahead, drop it".

Unfortunately their motto doesn't cover any sort of replacement for bent levels. It's all BS marketing, they're not really any better and bend just fine.

Why (and how) the hell are you bending levels?

Shit falls over on a job site. We had a 6' propped against the wall bend on hitting the ground. Definitely a stabila, probably 8 years ago now.

I work in an air conditioned server room at a cow murder plant now.

You bent a Stabila by dropping it on the ground over its own length? I'd almost question that if I cared enough.
I caught some cocksucker clamping mine to material as a straight edge. It's good.

Mine are all their I beam style. The 196 series. A few guys I know have the R beam.

Their standard series, the 70, I can see not being durable.

The other side of that is the accuracy and readability of them. A Stabila is .029" accurate in each direction. A Johnson is double that. The sight glass is also more difficult to read, using a smaller window, a smaller bubble, and wider set lines.

The final, most important thing, is that I like them. They work well, and they're actually serviceable. I can get new sights put in, new end caps, etc. I don't have to just go buy another.

More power to ya if you don't.

About 4 years ago I switched over to Irwin 2000 Box Beams. Same accuracy as a Stabila and a ton more features. Retractable endcaps the fold in with a push button. Mirrored plumb sight glass so you can see plumb when the levels facing you without having to reach your head around. Best of all, less then 1/2 the price of Stabila. Check them out next time you need a level.

I have a 16, 24, 32, 48, and 6' in Stabila, and the stanley pictured. I'm good for levels. That said, I'll take a look because I'm a tool whore.
Thanks man.

The next leveling tool I'm getting is an LAX300 laser so I can set things like continuous door/window casing, chair rail, and for plumbing walls while framing. Fuck a level. Lasering is faster and more accurate.
