Seriously how the week feels like it’s been going. Try to complete a simple task then someone goes and flings shit out all over the place.

ehhh, this week. nail. head. hit it.

Suffering small shop syndrome: setup and breakdown/clean every task. Today the big router decided to play musical RPMs, swapped brushes that didn't work, found the OTHER spares, huzzah. Fire it up and get an inch into the cut and the bearing starts smoking...shiiit what else? Cut my hand on the bit because the screw is seized, finally fixed after the bleedin stopped. Just about to fire up again... spousal bullshit timeout for 2hrs, come back it's late I'm not a dick neighbor so hafta wait till tomorrow to get this done. ah well, could be worse. Now pulling all the crap back inside so I can drag it all out again in the morning. Fuck me I need a barn.

We might be assholes but we all have our demons. If you don't have any, well, you're either a fucking robot or so insane the demons are running your head. I've seen plenty of addiction in my lifetime and hopefully @NunyaBizness can battle his. One thing is for sure, without support it's likely gonna be a fail and that support needs to be for your lifetime. My uncle has 35 years sober and still goes to meetings. He's also kind of a self righteous prick, but he's still sober.
Dad still goes to meetings and I hope he doesn’t become that self righteous dick face after that many years.

Well, looks like I'm going on a road trip with my pops tomorrow to go pick up a boat in Iowa. Gonna be a long ass drive. 27 hours it's estimating. We are leaving tomorrow morning around 4:30am, and hoping to make it to Omaha, Nebraska tomorrow night. (21-22 hours)
Anything worth stopping and seeing along the way? We likely are going to try to bonsai it as fast as possible, but the way back we might look for places to take breaks and relax for a bit. Hoping to be able to work Tuesday.

The issue he's having is there is no inventory out here on the west coast. There is a ton out there and better prices. It's a 2017 or 18 pontoon boat with a 300 motor. That's all I know. I'm not a boat guy, so I don't get all the hype. I'm just being a good son and helping him out with the drive.

I think the I80. What's the issue with that one?

I80 is just a long ass straight away basically. It’s got some nice scenery going though Wyoming but once you get past Laramie its pretty flat. Things start to pop up around Sidney Nebraska. The I80 is just about driving

Hit the road at 4:30am, and made it to Kearny, Nebraska by midnight PST. We hit a major delay in Mesquite, NV. The gorge going into St. George was closed due to an accident, so there was a ton of traffic and we had to take an alternate route. Cost us about an hour and a half delay. Other than that, we had 85mph drive all the way here. If it wasn’t for the delay we would have made it to Omaha tonight by our 12am goal. My pops drive from home to Grand Junction, and I took over from there. The Rockies are pretty amazing. Utah is even more amazing. East Colorado was way longer and more boring than I expected. Nebraska was pretty much what I expected. Nothing. Lol

Once you get east of Denver, lock the steering wheel straight ahead and take a nap. You won't miss anything for a few hours.

Haha I stayed in a motel 6 in Kearny Nebraska. The whole town smells like cow poop and I seen a lady smoking meth in the parking lot. But it was a dog friendly place to stay close to the interstate lol so I had no choice
