It wasn't hype, just a statement of fact lol

Some.folks swear by In n Out, I think Hillstone makes a better cheeseburger but it's not down the street from my MDR office lol

My supermarket sells SRF 1/2# frozen waygu patties that grill up amazingly on the BBQ
Highly recommend if you can get
Waygu, isn't that the beef with lots of fat in it?

Potentially, yes. There's more to it but that's the end result.

Another really good commercial meat production burger is Schweid and Sons, a tri-meat blend that tastes like dry aged.

I think I've tried this on the bbq but in a steak.
It's was like a tri-tip that had butter on it.
It's was good but like duck, to oilyish for me.

I grew up with White Castle. For me, the experience is best enjoyed when ordered and eaten fresh: steamed with pickles, onions (default) and cheese.
They are no good when not piping hot, and definitely not from the frozen section of the supermarket.

I'm sure fresh would be much better than 20 minutes old. The burger was okay, but mediocre at best. The fries sucked, and the chicken & waffle sandwich was trash.
Location?
Pontiac, MI was where I was at. I was there for a work thing.
Well you dun fucked up. The only time and way to enjoy white castles is stoned and at least past 10pm....fukin rookie
Well lucky for me it was 1am, and I was about 6 beers in and shared a joint with my rep before he dropped me off at my hotel. Seems like there is a theme when it comes to eating White Castle lol :beerscheers:

Isn't someone in your family a butcher that gives you meat all the time?
My wife's grandfather owned a butcher shop for the last 50 years or so until he sold it last month. We'd get free steak and eat prime rib almost every holiday. Gonna miss the prime rib dinners for sure. I worked there for a bit right after high school. Made thousands of pounds of ground beef and vacuum bagged lots of steaks during my couple months there.

Only burgers I eat I grill myself from top ground sirloin from my local German butcher from their own farm raised cattle. Fuck all that fast food garbage
As pretentious as that sounds it also sounds idyllic (Sound of Music level) but I don't want to cook when I'm fucked up at 2am and a greasy whatever from wherever does the job

Just stating the hype around in n out is crazy. I have had waygu burgers in Japan when I go visit my wife’s family. By far the best burgers

I wouldn't say In-n-Out is the best burger, but for fast food, I'd say it's one of the best simple burgers. Just a great classic style burger. Can't really compare it to a gourmet burger by any means.

I ate so much in n out in my early 20s I burned out on it. Last time I went I waited 30 minutes for my food and said fuck this place. It's good, but it's not a 30 min wait good.
