my business teacher told me there are three kinds of liars there's a liar a damn liar and a statistician. My neighbor was running a fever of 101 yesterday. He just beat cancer and has week lung function. Went to the hospital yesterday and they wouldn't test him. Sent him home and had him do his normal breathing treatments and oral steroids. They seem to be testing only the people that they are certain that they have it.
That’s fucked up especially with a former cancer diagnosis. His immunity system is not the best shape.

Nothing to be concerned about though, right?
Numbers wise it’s worse than the flu so far. Not as bad of bubonic plague in Europe when 1/3 of the population died. We’ve come a long way medically and societally since then.

Am I concerned? For the population at risk yes. People with heart problems, diabetics, long term smokers, high blood pressure, asthma, cancer, etc. Those are the people who should strictly self-isolate. Those are the people who should be turning their spring breaking grandchildren away at the door. Those are the people who should have a personal shopper that is ultra careful with keeping things clean. My sister is going to have to get my mom groceries since I’m in the line of fire and don’t want to be near her until 2 weeks AFTER the pandemic is over.

But the young people in the “essential” jobs? Nah we’re likely ok. Fill the grocery shelves, deliver food to the shut ins, take care of the ill. Likely going to be ok unless there’s something wrong with you that you didn’t know about ;)

Well certain deaths are being removed until further investigation.

Lawlz.

Russia saw a 40% increase in "pneumonia" deaths this year or some shit.

Everyone is lying about it. Which is whatever, par for the course.
I do wish I wouldn't have pulled out of work. Now I've lost my spot and unless we nail a few things I'm on my ass for a good while.
