Whatever you do, don't use the place @kasnerd is recommending if he's blowing out rear ends that easily.

And before he gets into it, there's plenty of fucking people running SCs that aren't blowing up rear ends.

ECGS is where it's at, case closed.

Danny, I know you want to be right to prove to yourself and your supporters that you know best, but you do not. You come across as insecure and desperate.

For the adults...

Everyone will have different experiences depending on use. ECGS are no stronger than anyone else's diffs. They are a service not the manufacturer. What I was doing Wed/Thurs others don't. I was running a race tune doing 5krpm passes over ruts and washboard. Those dynamic loads will eat weak Toyota diffs all day long. It's expected and I don't care about who builds it, they're gonna grenade under those loads. Now I know what is too much and modified the tune and know not to push that hard though similar terrain.

Regardless of what local shop does it, they will usually have stock on hand and can get it taken care of it in one trip (my time > Danny's time) and I don't have to take a bath in gear oil and smell it in my garage for a week. I've done diffs and set lashing...its not difficult but it's physically something I don't want to take on. I have a bad back (car crash), so a lot solo work isn't possible.

And if I really cared about the fact you have to get the last word in, including insults when I didn't even insult you, you'd be muted and your posting abilities would be taken away. Get off your fucking high horse kasnerd. You *have* to be right all the time. You *have* to get the last word in. You *have* to flaunt shit that nobody cares about because it's obviously the only way you feel good about yourself. So either "adult" up and fucking ignore it, or fuck off with your insults because they don't phase me. When your excuses stop, so will I.

You tagged me, I replied and then you accuse me of having to get the last word. Too bad we can't ignore admins.

Hate to get in on this bitch fest but…..Toyota tacoma diffs are known for being extremely touchy to setup. They do one of 2 things. Blow up in under 10k if setup too sloppy or last a long while with a good setup. Yotamasters fucked me. ECGS is still going strong. So my 2 cents has been donated.

This is relevant, non-editorial and useful. Thank you.

Let's make this scientific as possible. Danny let me use your ecgs diff and see if it blows up similarly. You've got a warranty, no loss. If you're right, lets find out.

 4 years with miles of abuse that haven't managed to snap them yet? If you're stupid enough to treat your Tacoma like a trophy truck, then you deserve all the ridicule and the damaged parts that come with it. Like I said, get off your high horse.

Guess you don't wheel that hard. Huh...where have I heard that before?

If you aren't breaking then you're not wheeling hard enough? Something like that... I dunno. So over this shit.

I want to hear more about this. Yotamasters was on my list of locals to call. I have a friend who used them but that was many years ago. I got a “quote” back from Miguel at Premiere west gear, he said re-gear price is $1950 parts and labor, $990 per ARB locker.

According to ECGS site I would be “saving” $180 by going with them and installing the 3rds myself.
