Now the build is ready, can eat my fucking dust and choke on the jealously that you'll never admit. Throwing all this shit at me about how and when I should do what for your approval. Fuck you and your no imagination memes.
Case in point...yoda? this scene? really....
Hate to get in on this bitch fest but…..Toyota tacoma diffs are known for being extremely touchy to setup. They do one of 2 things. Blow up in under 10k if setup too sloppy or last a long while with a good setup. Yotamasters fucked me. ECGS is still going strong. So my 2 cents has been donated.Danny, I know you want to be right to prove to yourself and your supporters that you know best, but you do not. You come across as insecure and desperate.
For the adults...
Everyone will have different experiences depending on use. ECGS are no stronger than anyone else's diffs. They are a service not the manufacturer. What I was doing Wed/Thurs others don't. I was running a race tune doing 5krpm passes over ruts and washboard. Those dynamic loads will eat weak Toyota diffs all day long. It's expected and I don't care about who builds it, they're gonna grenade under those loads. Now I know what is too much and modified the tune and know not to push that hard though similar terrain.
Regardless of what local shop does it, they will usually have stock on hand and can get it taken care of it in one trip (my time > Danny's time) and I don't have to take a bath in gear oil and smell it in my garage for a week. I've done diffs and set lashing...its not difficult but it's physically something I don't want to take on. I have a bad back (car crash), so a lot solo work isn't possible.
This is relevant, non-editorial and useful. Thank you.Hate to get in on this bitch fest but…..Toyota tacoma diffs are known for being extremely touchy to setup. They do one of 2 things. Let's make this scientific as possible. Danny let me use your ecgs diff and see if it blows up similarly. You've got a warranty, no loss. If you're right, lets find out.
Guess you don't wheel that hard. Huh...where have I heard that before?4 years with miles of abuse that haven't managed to snap them yet? If you're stupid enough to treat your Tacoma like a trophy truck, then you deserve all the ridicule and the damaged parts that come with it. Like I said, get off your high horse.

If you aren't breaking then you're not wheeling hard enough? Something like that... I dunno. So over this shit.[/QUOTE]
Don't let the door hit the you on the way out.
