Nah, bad joke. Just a reference about "reaching out". Maybe you folks out in PA don't get harassed by "extended warranty" people
OH, yes I think everyone gets those…

I thought you might be referring to something that you may have purchased when I was parting out the Tacoma.

That’s a bench full of goodie’s.
Ha! Yes it is. And there is a second bench getting pretty full as well. The plan is to build this thing and do the Rubicon and Moab in October.

I’m waiting for the 5.13s to come back from cryo and polishing, and axle shafts are back ordered, but that’s a lot of time. Should get it done.

@Stairgod talked me into the cryo and polished gears. Thank you again for helping me spend more money Jo n…

You will thank me when you have a broken axle shaft instead of a broken pinion maybe

Sliders and skids

The belly pan and the sliders both bolt to the bottom of the frame. They share one bolt hole on each side, so I had to notch the skids and rework two skid mounts.

I was going to weld the sliders on, but I decided to see how the bolt on thing does.

Other than that, and having to weld in two threaded inserts into the frame, it was the same old stuff. Apparently, only Rubicons have those threaded holes from the factory.

And I installed the OEM Auxiliary switches. These will be my locker buttons. No plans for the other two yet. But they’re pretty cool, you can set them up through the radio screen. They can be battery, ignition, momentary or on / off.

That's a lot of skid plates.
