I’ve been at it to long with this one to start an actual build thread.
Current status, 97 limited, factory rear locker, Aussie in the front, 4.88s, 5 speed swapped with Marlin Taco Box, Marshall Fab front bumper with the ultimate low budget Harbor Freight winch (don’t judge me), custom rear bumper (new one in the works), not enough armor anywhere else but lots of other doo dads. 35/15./17s on cheap no name wheels I scored on market place. Most recent mod was @eimkeith pan hard correction kit.
Feel free to follow along as I try and keep it in one piece if you like.

Nice trail rig. In the first picture I see three guys standing around while you wrench and not a single one of them is handing you a cold beer. What's up with that.

There was cold beer there somewhere, they were to busy giving me hell for not having a spare tire and not being fast enough at changing a CV.

Backwards like the snorkel :suspicious:
They is a reason for the backward snorkel head.

I actually started doing so it doesn’t catch tree branches so easily. I dread what I will hear from y’all around here when spot the snorkel head on my FJC lol.

You probably have thicker branches than I've ever worried about. Haha. Mud and snow would be my only reasons to turn it around and I haven't been in either for extended periods of time since I put it on. Mud especially. My tires stick out from the fenders enough to kick quite a bit of it all over the place these days.
