I kinda upgraded to a CV delete kit.
Edit: I wouldn't drive my truck that far. Roll cage too loud
I'm looking forward to seeing your rig in action. I'm not a go fast guy but I always appreciate a well built rig. Even the 2wd ones.

Haha. That's too much of a trip for it to be an event. Do you want to share the trail with more than 5 rigs at a time? I know I sure as hell don't want to. I'd like it to be something that many of the forum guys can attend and break off into groups and do their own thing. The only real organization I want is for everyone to be camped in the same general area, and maybe do a group BBQ. Other than that, it'll probably be a free for all.Summer event should be Ershim Lake. It's is #hardcoreifs after all. Lol
@Mike_taco4x4 Summer not fall. I hate you.
Both are great options. Once winter hits though, CB get's pretty damn cold sometimes. Ocotillo has pretty mild weather even in the coldest months.Cougar buttes or Octotillo. Leaning toward Octotillo
Sounds like CB's is getting some attention. We just need to either do it soon or wait until late winter, early spring. The high desert gets cold and windy in the winter and it could either be amazing weather or very miserable.Octoillo you know is too far for me. I'm down to check out cougar buttes. For a winter destination.
Still never been to Superstition. I definitely need to check it out one of these days.I vote Ocotillo or Johnson Valley..but then again i'm partial since those are my playgrounds.
another one is Superstition, i think there's some stuff out there for the #hardcoreifs crawlers.
The only problem with JV is the mildly built trucks don't have as fun of a time since most of the go-fast stuff is really whooped out, and the crawling stuff is obviously pretty damn difficult. I remember the first time I took my 4runner to JV, I didn't want to go back because my vehicle couldn't really do much.I vote JV. Obviously plenty of hard trails, some fun obstacles scattered about and waaaay more open desert to explore than ocotillo for 2wd guys or go fast stuff
In for location and dates. .
I wish @Slim-Whitey would make the trip but he has to save for his house and stuff.
Fredo would get really mad if I came. He's sensitive about me.
A place like Moab is 21 hours from me as well, so there's that. Ocotillo? 30 hours.
I'm not driving that far to get made fun of. I can get made fun of on here. I certainly give enough material.
So as owner of a mildly built truck I’ll gladly just set up some steel and make “TWACK” sounds on it all weekendThe only problem with JV is the mildly built trucks don't have as fun of a time since most of the go-fast stuff is really whooped out, and the crawling stuff is obviously pretty damn difficult. Lmao. Moab 12 + for me and I don't like comifornia. I'll have to put wood blocks in my Meg's so I can only hold fen rounds. No I didn't misspell ten. It's an abreviation for fucking ten? or fag as ten!Fredo would get really mad if I came. He's sensitive about me.

getting made fun of is better in person...plus You could make a vaca out of it. Spend Wed &Thurs at the great resorts in the Salton Sea and spend the weekend with the group.
I think we all have to deal with Fredo. A couple of thumb wrestling matches or rock scissors paper and it will all be good to go.
Ok I lose. I'll put it in neutral and you can roll me back 30 feet. Then it's beer 30 time.Nope. 30 foot tow strap truck to truck. First person to get pulled 30 feet, lose their bumper or suffer mechanical failure loses. lol

You could be the designated camp chef.So as owner of a mildly built truck I’ll gladly just set up some steel and make “TWACK” sounds on it all weekend
