also, do you really need that low of gearing? 11:1 ratio is ridiculously low.
I kinda want the 4.8:1 option so that I get the 1.5:1 ratio. Would be perfect for trail cruising at mid speeds but still have plenty of torque for hills or mild crawling. Also would be sweet for the dunes.

yea no, just posted for shits and giggles. I'll talk to Advance Adapters this week and see what's up. I am not gonna be rocking 40+ inch tires and climbing cliffs and trees with this truck. That would be a whole different kinda build. I am guessing no more than the 8:16 in combination with the automatic transmission.

well, part of my errands are daily checkups on a family member. truuust me I want to gtfo and romp...dumped all that money into the suspension just to make lunch runs and check on the elderly. not my cup but that's what it is.

I did order some new cam gears off that *other* site for 3deg retardation for exhaust that will go in asap. Bigger rubber needs MOAR POWAR (its part of the shit for the supercharger)

Yeah 8.16:1 would be more than enough. Doubt you’ll be in the rocks more than bombing through the desert. If you don’t plan on going more than like 60mph in the desert then that 1.5:1 ratio would act like an underdrive and allow you to use all gears out in the desert and still have torque for slow speed stuff. Seems like the best option for a multi use vehicle.

rear diff has 500mi on it. Time for a fluid change and then fun time. Still haven't put it into 4wd besides testing it after the locker. Need to get that wired up too. Sigh...life happens. I did take some time and get new resistors installed because led hyperflash. Need to get my ass in gear with the electrical, spod, etc. Alder creek lunch runs next week to break in the front diff.
Or since you like to spend booku bucks on things, you can just get a TH400 with an underdrive to keep up with the big boy desert trucks.

that's baller af. waaay more than this truck will need. If it gets an engine and driveline, tube framed, etc... maybe but only after someone's life insurance pays out or winning the powerball. 8k just for one component of a 50k+ setup is insane.
