Did anyone see how Lite Brite did?:playball::anon:
The results page shows 24th and Jordan Pelogrino of Gen-Right 23rd. This would make a great study of how and why these two finished where they did. Kevin qualified I think 45th and Jordan 14th. If the course was more desert than rock I think Jordan would have done better. But KOH is about the rocks.

I don't believe this at all! How did you manage to not get too rowdy this year?

I no longer have the luxury of time to work on it all year and beer just fills me up before I can get too hammered these days. I also just put it in cruise control when going over rocks now which made turkey claw a walk in the park. It was a very good week and we had quite the group in camp. Your friends also showed up and I might have Nick draw something up for me for this new event.

Edited title for general KoH thread...

Been watching qualifying today. Some cool rigs out there. Bit of carnage.

Saw the Sherpa guys going through turkey claw already. They were moving pretty good compared to some of the solid axle guys.

Just got back this morning (wanted to avoid the shit show trying to leave during the weekend). I'll be watching todays race from my couch nice and clean after being out there all week covered in sand. Stoked our driver had a good year in the UTV race Thursday! 120 cars started only 37 started their second lap. We watched the shootout from camp then decided to head that way. We ended up on the course and one of our friends had a U4 vest from last year on and we ended up getting a job as recovery for the night haha.

Ultra 4's YouTube plays exactly what the Jumbotron in middle of hammer town shows and is free. U4 site also allows you to pay $35 for premium paper view which will have more camera angles and no commercial interruptions I believe.

The key to avoiding the shit show on Sunday is leaving around 4 or 5am.

Everyone else knows that plan these days. I've learned the only way to avoid it is to bail Friday when everyone is coming in for the main event. Or stay till Monday or Tuesday after the main race. I left last night around midnight and it was all the last minute folks holding up Boone in the dark trying to figure out where to go.

I mean yeah it's still a mess, but it's not nearly as bad as the rest of the day. There's trails you can take out too.

It was my first year being out there at KOH so leaving on some random trails to head out in the dark of the wee morning hours would have likely yielded me lost for a bit. I've been out there a few times pre-running with our driver so I'm not completely unfamiliar with things so maybe I'll give it a go next year now that I've been to Johnson Valley a few times.

Just got back to KY after being out there the last week. I don't think I caught any of the races. Cruised up turkey claw a few times, watched a good fight at turkey claw, caught Sublime for a bit, hung out at backdoor and chocolate. Went towards claw hammer and full of hate for the EMC but we must've been there at a bad time because we only saw 3 vehicles come through and no pile-up, then saw the helicopters coming hovering over as we took off.

Did have some carnage in our group on the way back from claw hammer, though. No injuries, and anybody who knows this truck knows this only adds to its character.
