How do you guys sharpen your knives?

I have an old Kershaw I need to sharpen.
Spyderco Tri-Angle Sharpmaker. I tried the Lansky but I just didn't like it so I got rid of it for the Spyderco one. I got the Diamond stones for it too so that I can bring back knives that are extra dull without too much work.

Old faithful that got retired once I stopped wrenching. It was free but stood up to use as a pry bar, chisel, screwdriver and wedge. "Lost" it probably a dozen times leaving it in a truck I'd been working on but always found it's way back to me. Broken the tip off a few times and had to reshape it in the field with an angle grinder.

I just spent 30 minutes browsing the ESEE sight and found at least 2 I am seriously considering. I don't need another knife just like I don't need another firearm!!!

I EDC either a benchmade Adamas or Contego, depending on what I grab off my desk in the morning.

The locking mechanism is just superior to every other folder I've ever tried.

currently waiting on Benchmade Propper and 940 to get here. I've already got brass scales to put on the Propper then I will make a nice leather sheath for it.

also have my eye on the Spyderco Paramilitary 2 in s35vn w/ black blade and brass scales with blue titanium accents

Got this Ontario RAT II in D2 steel from my sister’s boyfriend last night for our family gift exchange. I feel this is probably the best bang for your buck budget knife. High quality steel, super smooth action, 4-way pocket clip, liner lock with G10 scales. I’ve been eyeing this as a truck knife for my daily driver for a while. I’ll probably carry it for a few weeks to get a good feel for it before it becomes the designated truck blade.

Giving/receiving a knife is bad juju. Unless you never want to see someone ever again
