I'm not sure where this post should go, so I'm putting it here. I'm after a set of these wheels:

I missed a set for $500; not willing to spend 900-1K on factory takeoffs. :jerkoff:

I like the offset for LT front and FJ80 rear on my 1st gen taco, so let me know if you see any deals. (dark grey FTW)

Just get some Walker Evans beadlocks instead and do it right the first time.

Those are 25mm offset, you sure that’s not too high for 35s? My 285 Patagonia MTs (granted those have mega side lugs) rubbed the spindle with 25mm offset 16x7 wheels.

As a data point, I needed 22mm offset (incrementally trying custom spacers I made from a baseline 30mm offset) on the 285 Patagonias to clear the top of the spindle. I assume even something milder like a KO2 would have bigger issues in 315.

I knocked off any casting flash from that area and smoothed the corner a bit with a flap wheel, but that only bought me about another millimeter. I know you have the means to cut around any other rub, but the spindle rub is an annoying problem :)

Well shit; you’re right. An ET13 rubs with 315s. Looks like I’m going for ET0..

(or I’ll just run spacers if I can find a set of these cheap)

Yeah, I ended up just running bolt-on .75" spacers, so all my detailed offset investigation was for nothing :)

That dang Einpresstiefe...
