A year ago I started talking about what life would look like for us in Mama Bear's Forester with another youngster in the mix.

6 months ago, finally finishing up my degree, our newborn arrived and I planted the idea of making life a bit more comfortable for us all.

This week I'll be washing my hands clean of the Subaru and its quirks.... and fuel economy.

We got a nice snowfall and while we were out enjoying the scenery and the scent of these 4 Cylinders of fury rolling coal on the way home.

I made the decision to accept Carvana's quite generous offer and the following day went to go test drive then subsequently purchase the replacement to our 'Family car'.

Not too old, but just old enough that a few tasteful upgrades will make it feel like 2022 in here.

Not too big, but big enough to take what we need.... with some breathing room.

4WD enough to enjoy with everyone. I would consider this a Van on a truck chassis.

Torquey little thing. It can actually get out of its own way.

Looking forward to more, but this isn't mine..... it's ours :)
I'll make it as comfortable as my wife demands, then sprinkle some bonus bits here and there.

Favorite part? We went from having no car payments, to still having no car payments. WIN!
