Im not sure about LCE or Marlin's clutch, I dont really mind if a clutch is a little rough on the streets, I want it to shine in the sand especially on the drag strip where multiple back to back runs are taking place and things start heating up. The flywheel I received from the PO of the transmission is toasted so I was thinking of going with a LUK one because that is OE? I know I havent been on for a while, been incredibly busy but my starter just toasted the flywheel ( or starter drive ) and im going to need to drop the trans anyways to throw a new flywheel in, the kicker is i've been waiting to swap this manual so its like the universe is telling me its time haha

EDIT: the other thing i've seen on LCE's site is the offering of a 9.5 inch clutch or a 10 inch clutch, im assuming either would work but id lean towards a 10 inch for more friction space. Im open to any manufacturer of clutch not just these two companies.

EDIT EDIT: I'm a dumbass for not reading. 9 1/4 is 3vz 10 inch is 5vz

Im not really sold on the fact that the extra 300 pounds of clamping force on the marlin product is worth $130 more than an OEM Aisin clutch...

$130 really. The things we do to our trucks cut ,chop, weld, change everything that the designers thought was good enough. An old gambler told me that "scared money never wins". He told me that if what ever $ I walked into the casino with ,if I wasn't willing to drop it on the floor and walk out that I shouldn't gamble. Well my money is scared shitless. I don't gamble.
Look at a stock 4runner. If you aren't willing to take a Costco size storage bin full of money to get it done right then don't even buy it.
When and if the OEM clutch starts slipping in the sand you will kick Yourself for not spending $130 dollhairs.
