Milestar Patagonia M/T - Anyone running these? Great reviews at a low price point.

I was wondering if anyone here is running these tires, my neighbor told me about them and I am debating on running them when I go 35s. 3-ply sidewall, low noise, $190 each - sounds damn good to me.

Review with the most views. Wonder why?

Beware tire reviews from people who appear to be sponsored, chances are that they got the tires for free so their opinion isn't worth shit.

I have a 37 patagonia as an emergency spare, I haven't used it, but can say they look like their height is comparable to other 37s, so they don't short you on height like some other brands. It's about 36.5" mounted on a 8.5" wide wheel and aired up, but not installed on a vehicle.

On that mounted wheel about how wide is the tread? Are they a full 12.5 or a little skinnier?

A friend of mine picked these up recently for his FJ. They have been doing great. I would say try em while they are still cheap. He has 35s.
Most likely what I will end up doing, just trying to figure out if I want to re-gear first or go 35s first. Obviously going 35s is cheaper. I cannot do both at the same time. I would also need new wheels or .75-1" spacers to get the backspacing I need.

I regeared first because I blew out my rear and and hadn't counting on having my 35s for another 6 months or so. It wasn't terrible on 33s. Fortunately I managed to pick up a set of 35s on the cheap locally a couple months later so I didn't have to drive regeared on 33s for too long.

I would love to re-gear, but couple things in line first

I get asked about mine a lot. I love them on the rocks, deep snow, down the highway, and pocketbook. I have road tripped them to Moab and Dusy - both about 14 hours 1 way. Once you get the tire pressure dialed they wear pretty well with their nice center lugs.

Downsides - I don't like them as much on compact snow and ice. If I am driving back and forth over the passes during winter I will put my BFG KO2 wheelset on. They also don't wear as long as my KO2s, but what does? I LOVE them compared to my Cooper STT Pros that completely sucked in the deep snow as they would not hold anything that was even remotely off camber.

Sorry that I don't have more comparisons to other tires. But guys in my club have been switching to them and say they are not going back to whatever they were running before.

That's pretty much what I plan to do. Either I'm going to buy 35s and dismount my K02s and sell, or sell my 33s with the wheels and buy new wheels with the 35 Milestars.

I think in the end I will just run a 0.5" spacer with my wheels to bring it to 4" of backspacing.

I mounted mine on ATX Chamber Pro wheels as this was the closest beadlock I could get to my Level 8 MK6 wheels. I did not want to be swapping spacers when I swapped wheels.

I hate buying tires in Canada. literally 470 bucks a tire for these in a 35.

like what the shit. At this rate I'll just get some cheap ass Chinese knockoff MTs and call er good.

@rkntoy just FYI, they measure a smidgen above 34" on my 16x8 wheels at 35 psi. 315/75r16 tires. Little disappointed, but at $870 installed I ain't mad.
