So, I made a call and bought a smaller tire 265/70r17 (back off) until I could get to a couple of other upgrades. We do what we can afford when we can do it... and my existing tires were crap. So, very little driving was being done. And, I have to say that these tires COMPLETELY filled the available space - there is less than a 0.25 of clearance between the UCA and the tire at full droop. If they made a 265/75 or 275/70 (though I suspect that wouldn't have fit) I would have been all over those.
I have a Bilstein 6112/5100 lift (which worked out to be just under 3", sag yet to come) with OE UCA, OE (2014 FJ rims) and no spacers.
If I did add spacers I could have gone to a 285/70r17 with some minor tweaking, but after debating this for three weeks I was fucking tired of thinking about the "what ifs" and the additional time I would have to spend making room for the larger tire and not driving... and Uwahrrie is calling. It's capable enough and in time it will be upgraded (as everyone does) for $600 in tires its not like I am breaking the bank. It will work, I will understand how Milestar functions and now I get how the production geometry compares to the calculated geometry. Picture later.
