Alright here are the details:

Thursday November 15th - 18th.

This is my annual birthday weekend trip to Moab. I've extended this invite to everyone and anyone who wants to come out. We usually end up with a massive group. My family and friends from Utah/Az usually all come out of this weekend. I have no idea how many of them will show up this year. All trucks ATVs and UTVs are welcome. all are street legal in Moab and no trail restrictions.

I am leaving SO Cal on Wednesday the 14th after work and staying in St. George Utah. Then Arriving in Moab the morning of the 15th and leaving Sunday afternoon to go north to my Utah home or extend my trip.

Trail Runs:
Trail run on Thursday afternoon/evening.
All day Friday
All day Saturday
Half day Sunday assuming the truck is still together by then.

We break into smaller groups so that we don't back up the trials and everyone can go do whatever difficulty they want.

I am booking a home/condo to stay in by the end of this week so if you want in, let me know so I can book the right size of place.

Hmmmm. Can possibly trade days off to be able to do this Thursday through Sunday. Not sure if @RPS1030 will want two Moab trips so close together.

I wish I could make it so bad! There is just no way I can afford to take the time off right now. Next year if I have more notice, I can make it!

That's not too bad. coming from SoCal freaking sucks. 12 hours and 750 miles. I'm only 4 hours from where I'm at in Utah.

Yup, we can peel out Thursday after work and roll in just after midnight. Maybe. I’ll have a better feel after tonight and more after the trip this weekend.

I'm going to have my dog with me. I might end up getting a dog friendly hotel, or if it's warm enough I'll leave her in the truck overnight and stay where ever you're renting.

Don’t leave the pup in the truck. :(

We are doing an Airbnb this week because I’m bringing dog and it was cold and beyond fucking windy last year. Plus a real toilet is cool.

Moab books fast for non-hotel rentals. Typically have to book 2 months in advance. Especially for dog friendly places. Read reviews though, one place on VRBO allowed dogs but expected them to be kept outside in a kennel.... wtf.

I imagined so, but I read way more about people staying in hotels or airbnb than camping out there. I would love to be able to plan for a Moab trip sometime next year.

I’d setup the RTT if solo. Add in the dog not being a fan of off-roading makes it tough.

But you mentioned RV/TH. There’s some free first come BLM campgrounds that are trailer-able like Ken’s Lake south of Moab. Also stuff along the river. Plus lots of open land in various places.

Yeah I don't like leaving her by herself but she seems to do fine alone in my truck. Normally when I go camping I sleep in the bed and she sleeps in the cab by herself. She's too big to put in the camper shell with me unfortunately, and besides she's not a snuggler. Its easy to tell when she gets stressed out since she gets stress diarrhea.

No more stress diarrhea

Time to get rid of the dog
