We are please to announce our soon to be release battery cage for the Autozone group 24 sealed AGM battery. As many of you know the Tacoma fenders cannot support the weight of a battery and cracks the fenders along with tearing up the core support up once you start to go off road. These cages are made for the Tacoma bed or can be modified for the engine bay or other locations on the truck. These are specially designed for the bed ribs on 2nd or 3rd gen Tacoma’s.
Many of you folks will ask why an Autozone battery? Well it’s an AGM sealed battery, it’s the most common and readily available batteries in the field. We will offer them soon for the Blue and Yellow Tops.
Please PM or email us at tacomapros@gmail.com for questions.

want. need to do a relocate on a 2nd gen...

what sets this apart from other battery cages besides mounts ? That's exactly what I was thinking of building myself. Do you have exterior dimensions? I see bolts through the bottom, does that mean surface mount too? my idea was to tie into the rail+wheel well. I'm planning on doing L-track in the bed, ditching the stock channel.
