That’s what has bugged me the most since the Raptor came out. If Toyota had made a legitimate factory long travel with decent power (Tacoma or Tundra), maybe we’d be discussing a Toyota version of the Bronco by now. If the new Bronco had a Toyota drive train I might actually consider buying a new vehicle for once. Imagine a smaller version of the 5th gen 4Runner with factory V8 or turbo’d 6 cylinder and a killer suspension and locker option. Not to mention a more wheel-able approach and departure angle. It would be pretty sick. I only like old reliable Toyotas for the time being.
