Lurked a few times, figured the shenanigans would be worth it.
02 4Runner Sport in Stellar Blue Pearl
Typical mods before it starts getting out of hand: Full armor, 4.30 swap with e-locker retrofit, 33's, yada yada
Located in SE Kentucky
I have only been offroading a few times, so nothing serious enough to snap a CV.....yet
Just let it start by getting out of hand from the beginning. Or else you’ll end up like most of us and start doing everything 2 or 3 times until you are happy. Getting out of hand is always more fun too.

That truck looks familiar too. Did you buy it like that or do that stuff yourself?

How is the wheeling in the Uintas? It's one of the few climbing areas in the U.S. I haven't been to and if it has some hard wheeling it what put it up towards the top of the current list.
The wheeling really pretty easy . But its really beautiful and the camping and fishing is awesome. also the backcountry skiing in the winter is some of the best in the in the us

I've heard it's a rad place. Thanks.

As far as BC skiing goes, I'll pass. I live in Bishop and the Sierra are my backyard. I don't ski. I moved here for the alpine climbing. Well, any climbing really but the Sierra specifically. I grew up back east and used to ice climb 4 months out of the year. In 2005 I moved here so I'd never have to be cold again. lol

Hello gentlemen! My name is Paul and I like to 'wheel. And drink beer. And shoot guns. And go to the titty bar(well I used too). I drive a 31yr old 4Runner. It's done a few trails. Hope to contribute.
Well shit, sounds like you’ll fit in just fine. But post some pics of this damn 4runner you speak of.

Werd to ya momz.

01 HoRunner Sport. Silver. (Call sign: Freddie)
East Central Indiana. (Reppin the heroine hoes and the meth mouths, y'all)
No "mods" per-se. I gots me some Cooper S/T Maxx in stock size.
Just did a BUNCH of maintenance that was ignored by previous driver................................

Tires, water pump, timing belt, alternator, brakes (rotors and pads, Power Stop), new calipers.

The HoRunner sat for a year under a sorgum tree. So, that was a fun week of cleaning.

Plans are to keep it mostly stock, as it is plenty capable for my use. Typical camping, shooting, fishing, etc.
I do plan to replace the suspension, probably OME and all bushings with ES Red.
