I don’t think I’ll have much time or money to make this happen. Still working on trying to buy a house. I’ll try try to pull this off, but don’t count on me going as of yet.

Then put the fucking clutch in and let's go wheeling. A clutch isn't a 3 weekend job. Even for you. lol

Gonna post it on TW in the overland rigs for sale section and ask $50K.

Its a 2015 with 15K miles, 35's, beadlocks and lockers... with major overland body damage street cred. It's worth at least $45k on the low end.

So are you going to have your rig ready for this trip? Hint: It's what the threads about. lol June 22-23. I also will have the 21st off. You in?

Lol. No.... I've taken June 19th - 25th off and I'll be in Utah. I'll get some more shit done in between everything else I have going on. I think I'll have the truck back in California after the 4th of July.

Alright if I plan it right I'll be in the area. I may or may not take the harder lines since I was reading there's bypasses on most of it. Only because I have reservations for a beach cottage in Santa Cruz the following Weds and I'm damned well gonna make that. Locker should be fixed this weekend. I'm thinking I may grab a hotel that Thurs in bishop to freshen up after 5 days on the road and dirt. Part of my plan involves mono lake and Bodie ghost town before hitting Niagra though, so that may be Fridays plan.

Cool. I have Friday off as of right now so maybe we can dilly dally up that way. There's also one other guy going. He's a dude I talk to a bit on TW and seems like a legit dude.

I just have to start making my way west after this trail. Probably cut through Yosemite and camp on the other side. Told my sister I'd be there by Tuesday evening.

I'm glad you decided to go. It should be a fun trail. You'll have plenty of time to get to the coast by Tuesday. lol

Honestly I was on the fence because I just want a 2 week problem free vacation. Then I watched a video of a basically stock turd gen tacoma do it on the bypasses. Hahaha. The only one thing that really has me concerned is the the off camber spots because I'll be fully loaded running the trail. Especially that hard brake hill downhill section.

Ok I think I'm in as well. I can't believe how late the passes stayed closed this year! Not that it matters to me for this one but still

Was just looking at maps earlier and it looks like 120 through Yosemite is still closed, but Niagra rim is off 108 which is open and puts me going in the right direction.

It was a very large, very late snow year. In January I was stoked because of how little snow there was. By late February I was pissed at how much snow there was. When winter round two hit the middle of May I was ready to move to Florida. lol

120 won't be open till close to the 4th of July. It's always the last of the passes to open. It's going to stay warm for the next two weeks so that should melt off any snow left on the trail. I think. lol
