Not a bad thing man, Im sure half the nova guys would bust up their shit if there were on those trails. If anything these trails get more dumbed down over the years due to the subtle rehabs they get.

I was at flagpole over the weekend, and there was that one spot going from Meadow knob to flagpole (up the hill) that was actually a challenge to get through on 35s and the locker on. My winch has been deadlined and I went out anyway, got to that point as was like fuck man I dont want to go back. So I had to send it a bit. People have been going up there all last winter and really rutted it out, which I am happy about.

Good, Union Springs was getting kind of boring, despite it being one of my favorites in the area. We're doing Peter's Mill this Saturday for the hell of it, and Potts on the 17th, you (and anyone else) are welcome to join either/both if you're interested, although Potts might be interesting with a non-op winch

When my taco is back on the road I need to come do Potts and Peter's Mill with someone who knows the trails.

I need a guide on potts as well. Whats going on with your rig?

BTW, get the pass for peters mill, hit it at night if you want to do a speed run. It gets packed full of dirtbikes all summer/fall during the day and week. Ive had dudes almost crash into me around corners. At night though, Ive done PMR in 38 minutes (bent an LCA bolt doing it)

It's getting a custom J-Arm LT setup on the front and a ford 9/60 full float on the back. I've got a build thread here with all the details.

No worries, I may start throwing up a post in here before runs to see if anyone wants to hop on, we have a lot planned so I don't want to be obnoxious, but I'm pretty much surrounded by Jeep guys so I'm always trying to get some Toyotas on the roster

I haven't run Peter's Mill this year but last year they filled in a lot of the fun ditches and holes, so it's pretty tame. Not any surprises really but I've still somehow seen photos of people rolling their shit on that trail. Mind blown. These days we run it to introduce the 4x4 newbs and get them interested in the hobby/savings account killer.

Potts however is a greasy bastard, I've only run it once and had to winch at a spot without a bypass. If you've been to Rausch and know their ratings, I'd put the sketchy parts at a black and the some of the optional obstacles in black/red territory. Most of the trail is green/blue.

Our group has another Potts run planned later this summer but I'm always down to get a group together for anything local.

That is damn impressive. It takes me 38 minutes just to convince my wife to let me go

My impression is that Potts requires a reasonably built truck. I'll run all the routes at flagpole/meadow in my gladiator so I may jump on a peter's mill run some time. I'm camping at flagpole this month, maybe we can take a day trip up the Potts. How are they on kids with ATVs there?

ATVs at Potts? It may be street legal only, I don't remember off the top of my head, I'm sure it's published on the Forest Service site somewhere though

And yeah if you're running up and down all different ways to Flagpole in the Gladiator then Peter's Mill will be a cakewalk. Peter's Mill would be the place for some ATV action, there's a lot more routes available to bikes/quads than just the point-to-point main trail for full size vehicles. Like MountainTan mentioned it can get crowded so as long as everyone keeps their head on a swivel it should be a good time

Also, your build thread is awesome, and followed your instagram for great justice

Thanks.

I'll have to dig into the ATV regs, my 7 year old has a 110cc he does pretty well on at FLagpole, but I don't have one, so I follow in the truck. With AC and no mud...

Be careful on flagpole, I know a few people that have caught 1k fines on ATVs / SXS up there. It is street legal vehicles only. They also have trail cams up all over the place.

Potts is only street legal vehicles.

Peters Mill is everything (ATVS, Dirtbikes, SXS, street legal vehicles)

Taskers GAP OHV (right down the street from PMR on the Edinburgh side) is really only good for ATVS and DBs and SXSs

So send people links wisely so we dont turn this into tacomaworld 2.0 :D
Let them come. Shit invite them. We need canon fodder.

Trail cams don’t have zoom so you’re good

You are correct, except the cops will sit and wait for you on the road out and thats where they will get you/ Know a guy that got a spotlighting ticket, DUI, and ATV fine all in one go.
