Not our best finish finishing last in class with a time of 14 hours, it was definitely the most memorable race yet.

We hit rock at around 90ish that destroyed the front tire and wheel. And before we were able to stop we hit another rock at that bent the upper spindle bolt to almost a 30° angle. Took about 2 hours to get it fixed and we were back in the race.

Later on we lost the driveshaft while going up a sandy wash. And that took along time to swap out for the spare because the truck was in a tight wash and on a hill. We had to wait for recovery to tug us up to a flat spot. We were down for another 2 hours before continuing on with the race. It's kinda weird how the driveshaft broke. Either a rock hit the rear yoke just right making the u-joint cap dislodge, or the c-clip wasn't correctly installed. We also had very bad vibrations with the spare driveshaft at speeds 80mph and higher.
