With enough cutting wheels and a welder anything is possible.
True
Just go LS. Not really any bigger than the V6 you got in there now. Maybe a little longer. The trans (unless you go manual) is going to be the part that will likely be bigger than you got now.
I want to take the boat motor out and put it in the taco

The hull is getting old, still ok but getting old. To much$ to fix.
My dad that is no longer here built it from ground up sorta speek.
It has sentimental value it has nothing to do with making a buck or two.

California ain't getting no wetter it's hard enough to take the boat out every time you bring it out got a bust. out. another. thousand....

Definitely keep what is viable and put it to use. Still keeps the sentimental value of it intact. I asked my dad for some of my grandfathers tools. Not to use them but to display them on my peg board. My grandfather is the one that got me started on wrenching and I think about him all the time when I am elbow deep in grease.

My ocd makes me enjoy and hate this pic at the same time lol.
same here, by the time its done everything will be nicely organized and properly color coded, along with detailed notes Reusing factory firewall rubber, no broken connectors, to try and give it a little of the OEM 4runner harness look. Adding extra wires to fill blank connector slot for future add-on.
