After months of debating I Raptorlined my truck. The clear coat was failing and this seemed like a feasible & affordable option.

The whole process was done over two weeks with maybe a combined 5 full days of work.

I could go into details but we all know you guys want to see the good stuff, and I’ll happily be a little photo whore.

I really like how the bed ended up, looks brand new.

The process was pretty fun.

Sanded down the clear with 120 and 140 grit. Also sanded down all the rusty spots down to bare metal. Spent a full day, with help, sanding it down. Then another morning sanding little spots we missed.

After everything was sanded I sprayed self etching primer over all the bare metal spots.

Looks like a Ford Ranger now
Looks like a Ferd, runs like a Toyota. I'll take it :flipoff:
Damn lovin'. That came out really good. I like.
Thanks, was a lot of work. It was also a lot cheaper then a cheap respray. It's definitely not perfect, some overspray here and there but I'm pretty happy
It's missing the dildo unicorn horn.

@Nicklovin has come a long way in his skills. Glad to see him growing and doing his own thing. Needs a new ifs sticker. I'll send one your way Nick.
You know, I think I still have a stuffed unicorn I could throw on the roof

Came out nice. Side note how many of the houses look exactly the same?

Same shit, they all look the same.
These where built for only 150k
And sell for 750k up to 1.5 mill depending on where you are in this track
Sad thing is, is that you can hear your neighbor shit and showering in the morning...for that kind of money you shouldn't have anywhere around close to you like this

Shit if you find bodywork and sanding fun then I've got a mustang with your name on it that would provide hours of enjoyment. Looks good man but could have been a bit darker on the red in my opinion. Almost looks pink
Ha only if I can buy the mustang. Yaa definitely turned out pretty bright

Fender flares back on, raptored those black as well.

Thinking about buying some black headlights down the line, would look cool, also mine could use replacing. Or maybe @Mike_taco4x4 can convince me to buy retrofits :anon:

Make your own retros. Its super easy to open the headlight. I do it with a harbor freight heat gun and a cardboard box.lol
