It’s from a 2012 f350 drw. Basically full rebuild yeah. Since I have it apart I might as well replace all the seals and chit.
Damn so its gonna be super wide? I hear those new model super duty axles are beefy as fuck, even compared to the old ones. What size u-joints is it running on the axles?

I took off the dually adapters so its normal width only 71” wms. Rear is 68. It is very beefy yes even compared to the 04 style. They changed in 05. 1480 joints. The super 60 from 450/550 takes a 1550 ujoint lol

Solo exploring got gnarly when I ran a few trails that are not for solo missions.

Started pretty chill

Blew a bead - then realized I took the QuickStart out of the truck so I can’t just reseat it with ether...fuck.

Ended up getting it seated. Aired it up then back down. Kept goin since I had come down some shit I couldn’t go up easily.

This is why I bring 3 snatchblocks. Had to use two to save me own ass. Pulled the rear end over and out of this rut I was headed toward. Going into it would have been real gay

And somehow made it out.

Buttoning up the shave tonight. Need all new hardware. Tmr doesn’t mention that their shave kit bolts and the replacement hardware for the housing are not the same thread. So I managed to mangle a bunch of the fancy hex head bolts they supplied, before I figured out what is what.
