I’ve also got it held up on top by the body. Still sketchy haha.
I did a nice weld!!
Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once and a while. lol
Did you mention what front axle your using? Are you adding dual cases while it's all apart and easy to get to?
He’s already dual cases
Axle is driver drop too. 2012 superduty axle
The 04+ Super Duty 60's are fucking monsters. They will handle 42's all day long with no problems.Dana 60. That should hold up just fine.
Can't go wrong with that. Have you shaved it yet?14 bolt rear
Here’s where I got to tonight. Both side frame rails welded on, plates on the outside of each.
Next is to plate the inside of the joint between old and new, then I would like to get a bumper set back onto the front or at least join the two front tube with a strong tube at the front so I can let the engine weight down on it again and not worry about it flexing.
Got my gears, and tires obviously. Still waiting on a bunch of goodies. But I can keep fabricating for now. Lots to do up front still to prepare for the axle.
I knew this was going to be expensive, but holy shit.
Also these tires are absolutely ducking uuuge
Interested to hear what you think of those tires. I ran Mickeys for a long time and loved them. Would've gotten the MTZ P3s when I went to 37s but my Falkens showed up on CL for 600 bucks. Also these tires are absolutely ducking uuuge
Damn! My sense of humor doesn't work on this forum either
got the frame plated inside and out at the joint.
Now what??? Not even sure what to do now
Lol these tires are ridiculous
I thought it was funny; reference to his bed work.
