Nothing better than sitting around drinking beer and playing poker. Used to do it all the time, even won a couple backyard tournaments.

Just not a gambler and never been a fan of playing games (card games especially). I’m pretty boring when it comes to that stuff. My brother and his wife love playing card games and I’m always the boring one that wants to sit in the backyard or garage and just hang out.
One of my past clients invited me over to a party last year and he tried to teach me to play since him and his son are all about it. I think that was the second time I ever played.

I actually won $500 in Laughlin once. It was a variation of poker. Idk what it was called. I didn’t know what I was doing either. I was only $30 in and got $500 back. Took $40, bought a pack of smokes, put $20 in a penny slot machine and used the rest to tip the waitress every time she brought me beer.
Haven’t gambled since.

Used to play quite a bit, hit a streak of bad beats and I took a break and haven’t gone back.
I’m sure if the Corona wasn’t a big deal while I’ve been on my vacation, I would have been playing more with all my free time

Any gathering, my mom always tries to get some kind of card game or board game started. My wife’s family isn’t about it at all but after 11 years, she still tries

Got some work done on my dads Jeep JK today. Installed some hydro bumps as well as adjusted the ride height on the coilovers. The rear had almost no up travel after the shop adjusted the upper shock mounts and changed spring rates. Also the lower links were hitting the bottom of the frame rails at full bump. We flipped the links over (they have a bend in them for clearance) so we can clear the frame rails and get more up travel. So we gained over an inch of up travel by changing the bumps and flipping the links. We raised the rear two inches so now he’s sitting with just under 6” of up travel at ride height. We went for a spin up in the hills by my house and it was a huge difference. Bumps work great and the fact he has more than 2” of up travel made a night and day difference.
Crazy how shops that specialize in this shit can’t seem to figure this stuff out when they are putting it together. Everything was close to working well but overall there were so many little things that needed to be done to perform right.
Next we might move his lower shock mounts up a little. He still has like 2” of shock shaft showing at full bump. Also gonna probably make new lower links using better joints and threaded joints at each end. The Terra flex joints just can’t keep up to abuse

I'm in AZ. I filed Feb 21st and received the state in a little over a week. On the irs website my fed said recieved for about a week and now says processing.

filed a couple weeks ago on a Sunday night and got fed by that following Tuesday and state by that Thursday

I'm going on two months and nothing from the feds. They owe me almost 10k ... first time in years I get a refund and it's delayed
