I'm having wheeling withdrawal and I'm still 3 weeks away from the next run.

Looks like I might be heading out to Randsburg next weekend.

I feel like a retard, but I finally figured out my power steering problem after about a month, 3 power steering pumps, disabling the ram assist, plugging the steering box at the hydro lines.

Turns out, when I took the engine out the truck, my friend who helped me used vacuum line plugs on various parts of the engine so water and dirt does not enter. Most of these plugs were on the outside of whatever they are protecting, so they were visible. He put a plug on the inside of the inlet on the PS pump and it got sucked in and I was not able to see it.

Now, I need a new alternator because so much PS fluid saturated it after disassembling the PS so many times and it instantly wants to start an electrical fire whenever I hook up the battery. Also need a new brake master cylinder. Fuck these unplanned expenses. My Silverado tags are due on the 31'st of this month, and I need new tires for it soon. I want to thank the democrats of the great state of CA for making my registration almost $400 on a 12 year old truck.

Mines leaking again. Gonna have to bite that bullet and probably pick up a new one soon.

Autozone pump baby. Replace it everytime I take it out just because I can.

You guys have easy access to your racks, mine not so much. I'll probably pick up a cheap rack and a rebuild kit, then rebuild the OEM for when the cheap one fails.

Marlin just release their steering rack replacement. Looks beefy

If I had 1200, I'd totally do it. I'm kinda hoping it just stops randomly leaking. This is the second time and I know it's not water this time because my tie boots are sealed better. Just odd that it sat for an entire week before it even started leaking.
