So this question is out of left field... I can Googl_e it I guess, but I need a "brick-and-mortar store" so I can physically inspect and see what I'm purchasing.

Anyways, does anyone know what stores sells "Dickies" clothing? My work shirts and pants are finally in need of getting replaced. I bought the ones I have from Sears many years ago. I've tried multiple Walmarts and Targets and they carry them or are definitely not the same "material"? For example, I would see a t-shirt and the material is more "formal" type wear and not thicker cotton types, if you get what I'm trying to describe.

Anyways, I prefer Dickies clothing. I like their pants, shorts, work type t-shirts because of how the quality the material is that kind of thick rugged Levi's blue jean type material or thick type t-shirts, if you get what I'm trying to describe. What brick-and-mortar stores can I go to and shop around?

The Walmart and Target clothing I am not very satisfied with what they have to offer. There is a Wrangler work t-shirt at one Walmart, for example and the material is thin AF and even the colors are hideous looking.

If I was to shop online, I wouldn't be able to physically see and tell if I like it or not? One thing about online shopping that just is just NOT the same as shopping at a real physical store.

Thanks guys.

Used to buy mine at Sears too, but even their quality changed before they started shutting down the stores. I had to go more business for the current job so I haven't bought Dickies pants in a long while. Maybe check old Navy? I don't think Kohl's carries them. Not sure where else. You can always Google around looking for local stores that carry them too and check for in store stock.

Yeah, didn't think about checking in store stock for places that might sell them? :anon:

Yeah, my work is more of a warehouse/workbench type of job. I can totally work in more casual type clothing, but I'd rather not. I spilt some potting glue type material on my blue jeans one time and that made me pretty mad. Even when I worked at my old job, I got some sort of vehicle fluid on my blue jeans and almost immediately the material started to get "eaten"? Whatever it was was very caustic and thankfully my skin wasn't affected, but my jeans were trashed.

Anyways, that's why I stopped wearing my more casual type clothing at my old job and now my current job.

Thanks Danny, I will do searches like that.

So i think my driver side catalytic converter is what is giving me a bolt rattle noise. They are expensive so i want to make sure before i buy it.
If i take off the cat run a straight pipe to test it will that work? Pretty sure ill trip a o2 sensor or something but i should be able to drive anyways right?

Check the dust shields around your exhaust.

Yeah you will toss the sensor. Technically will drive and you won't pass smog if that's coming up for you. And if you do buy new ones atleast you can recycle the old ones to help recoup the cost somewhat. But like dipshit said. It's probably just the heat shields. Mine are all torn up and rattle

Still chasing rattle noise. Cats didnt rattle when i hit em with a rubber mallet so im thinking they are good. Not for sure but most likely. Next thing Im gonna check is exhaust manifold gasket.
Noise sounds like its coming from that area. Would make sense why it gets louder at high rpms. Exhaust manifold leak can sound like a loose bolt or tick sound so I hope thats it and im done. Should be a quick check with some soapy water.

@WileECoyote do you have a Tractor Supply near you? They have a good selection of work wear clothes and pretty confident they carry Dickies along with Carhartt as well.
I looked it up and everything is on the 15 fwy side except a "feed store" just down the street from me, but I can go look.

There is a "Boot Barn" near me as well.

Thanks guys for the input. :beerscheers:

So right now, I'm fighting a small cold that had developed Friday night. Called out sick today and pretty sure everyone at work is "running for cover" today :boltout::peep:... YES, I work with quite a few pussies.:bash:

Anyways, I need to take a test before allowed back as that is ADP policy unfortunately and I can't do anything otherwise. It's not necessarily my work, per se, as it is ADP that calls those shots and nothing I can do about it.

Anyways, no complaints here as I'm getting paid either way.

Finally, I can now take the "at home tests" whereas just a few months back that was not allowed???

Anyways, I go to Googl_e "how accurate are COVID 19 at home tests" and this more or less pops up...

Now, I don't know if any of you have heard of the term "double-talk", but I can tell you that THIS is double-talk at its very finest!!!:doh::rofl::rofl::rofl:

The dipshit world we now live in???:confused:

You know Danny, the chicks I live with are easily scared of this shit because they listen to the MSM too much or listen to their dipshit friends that are easily fear mongered and put fear into them. The old lady I rent the room from has a negative comment about ANYTHING that I say or bring up as well.

My point being, the reason I'm trying to move the FUCK out of this place and just done with "roommates"!!!

No doubt I do childish and stupid shit myself, but to have to deal with it from other people pretty much on the daily really takes a toll on me. I can take it at work, but to come home to the same shit? They seem to still think that being "fully vaxxed" will keep them from getting it, but yet they fear of it? How the fuck does that make any sense??? :noidea::doh:

I don't have a single jab done to me. Not that I don't care, just not so easily scared as I'm just as exposed as the next asshole and somehow I've avoided it for two years now? I can also tell you I've been directly exposed to confirmed cases many times over.

Anyways... rant over... Just need to get the fuck out of here ASAP and believe me, I'm doing my best.

Best to wait 3-4 days after the first onset of symptoms to test. If you test positive, you start 10 DAYS counting FROM THE DATE OF FIRST SYMPTOMS. That's your contact contagion period.

I just had it a few weeks ago. Felt like a regular cold, nothing more, but I also had to stay home for a week, then I could return to work but had to wear a mask for another week. CA/company protocol. No retest was required.

YMMV

Pretty much the protocol I need to follow, which is why I haven't gone to the clinic yet. There's a place just down the street from me that I went to last time. Wasn't even one of those rapid tests and I still got the results back in roughly just over 1x day.

Anyways, I plan on going tomorrow as it is walk-in no appointment necessary.

Talking about appointments, it was so fastly done, the reason for appointments nowadays is just stupid beyond belief? I get it when all this shit first went down, but to still have to do appointments is just dumb with how fast one is in/out nowadays.

But yeah, I have to follow very similar protocol.
