I'm hoping to be good by San G for a shakedown run before we hit desert season. Just wrapped up spark plugs along with the throttle body. Seems to be idling better, but I haven't driven it so dunno for sure yet. Just need to cycle my front and make sure everything clears then get the limit straps welded on and I'm good for now. Need to retune my coilovers so they work better with the bypasses but I can do that once shit cools down..

I guess there are 2 fires. I saw the hemet one from here in Murrieta. Just found out the big bear one is call Radford.
Just as I was going to sell my camp site too lol.
Sucks tho hopefully it gets contained asap
I didn't get a site this year. I'm like I'll do a day trip if this trip actually doesn't get cancelled from fire.
They need to move it to earlier in the year. Sad because it is a fun trip. Just hold on to your site. You'll get a full refund.

Not sure why there isn't more info about the Radford fire...

Ash all over the cars from one of them. Probably Hemet. 90% chance of rain Saturday so I'm not washing them until Sunday.

The hemet fire is pretty smoky this morning the whole valley is a haze. Yeah my stuff isn't getting washed either until next week and these fires die down.

@4runner DOA Ever run on of those light weight car covers before? Thinking about covering my car on weekends since the garage is currenly being occupied. Not sure if those covers scratch the paint.

I've got one a cover king fitted cover. You have to make sure the car is clean before you use it otherwise it can definitely scratch the paint. I only use it when I'm gonna be gone for the weekend in a different vehicle since it's my daily.

The DD - near flawless paint.
The play truck - scratched to all hell.

I wish my paint was better but I bought used and I'm pretty sure the previous owner used the gas station car washes on the regular. It's not terrible but I still see it. I paid for a "paint correction" and ceramic coating but it was a one stage multi polish. I'll probably stop being lazy and hit the car with a 3 stage polish this winter. See if I can't clean it up more.
