Gorgeous machine. Tried out my buddies 450RL for the first time. It's really nice. I can see what all the hubbub is about. Cush suspension and plenty of power. Does feel a bit heavy when going slow though.

Always draws attention at staging area. Everybody wants to talk about it
Only downside I'd say is the weight. I love it for desert. Welds are beautiful. Body work is clean.
I have a yz125 that I'm restoring as my light bike for the technical stuff.

Looks like you got a new ezup. Just need a top cover. I have that same one. Stupid light. Mine caught air once

It caught air in their backyard a month or two ago, hence the ripped top. Thought it was gonna come over the fence. Surprisingly it's still there. Wind died down some.. dude still hasn't tied it down though.

For a second I thought that flew into your yard. Yeah it was crazy windy this morning.

Naw that's the neighbor's driveway. Runner and Lexus park up against the fence so if that thing took flight it was definitely going to hit the car. Obviously not as worried about the runner.

Not enough top to catch wind to blow away.

The way the wind was blowing earlier there was plenty and I'm honestly surprised it didn't go. I actually watched it tip up when I took the picture. Got up, checked to see if it was tied down, then grabbed my keys and moved the car.

Anyone planning to go on a trip during Thanksgiving?
I'm taking the Taco and motos to Ridgecrest to do some OHV for a good solid week.
A week without work.. without injury.. what dreams are made of right there.

Was going to go to Gorman for a couple days.
Going to Palmdale to hang with family and work on boat then headed for the dirt I think.

I just got this e-mail from Baja Designs. They’re coming out with a new redesigned Squadron SAE, which is great because the cutoff on the original ones blow. Looks like they’re letting people exchange the older ones for a pair of the newer ones. I work about a mile away from their headquarters, so I have the luxury of going in person to do the exchange when the time comes. Just thought I’d share in case any of you have them and want to get in on a free upgrade.

Baja Designs strives to be a leader in the off-road industry by making the best lights on the market, and we have done that through rigorous real-world testing and back that up with countless wins in off-road racing. In an effort to continue that innovation, we are pleased to announce the Next Generation Baja Designs Squadron SAE coming in January 2023. We have taken what we have learned over the years and applied new technology to bring a light that is Brighter, Bolder, and Better.

Our Squadron is known for being one of the most popular lights we have to offer, and it is no secret the performance is incredible. When we launched the Squadron SAE, we were excited about the performance, but we knew we wanted more. So our engineers returned to the drawing board to re-engineer the light that not only meets SAE regulations but outperforms the competition giving the best performance possible while being road legal.

For all existing customers who have purchased a Baja Designs SAE Squadron, we will replace them with our Next Generation SAE Squadrons. For further details reach out to info@bajadesigns.com.

If you want to learn more about the new Squadron SAE, check back in January.

I've got iggy lights from a TW group buy. They've been great for 4 years and 1/10th of the price of Bajas. Honestly I think a lot of that shit is just super overpriced.

No doubt. The couple SAE I saw other than BD were Diode Dynamics and Rigid. BD is local and has a good reputation in general (although admittedly overpriced) but I bought a pair anyways thinking it’s a one and done. The cutoff isn't as sharp as I would like, but they get the job done. It’ll be interesting to see if the revision is better. At least they care about their product being up to par and stand by it. Something to be said for a company like that these days.

Planning either Gold Mountain or Cougar Buttes on Sunday if anyone is interested

Also, will Gold Mountain be too slippery?
