I'm pretty sure this stuff is why my truck was riding like shit on the highway. lol

Bent passenger side inner tie rod.

E1IHUH6.jpg

Busted C-clip on passenger side CV. Also the outer/outer clamp was broken.

o7z5Ts8.jpg

Busted C-clip driver side CV. Both outer/outer and inner/inner clamps busted.

lZokEHp.jpg

Hard to see but bent the forward portion of the drivers side LCA mount.

BQ2aYli.jpg

Bent lower d-bushing bolt for the rack.

jtfaNT2.jpg

Blew apart the d-bushing itself and probably bent the d-bushing mount clamp.

That's it for the damage. I'll try and find some c-clips that don't fucking break and re-grease and re-clamp the CV's. I'll bend the bolt back straight. I have new rack bushing so those will go on. I'll beat the LCA mount back to straight. Then new inner and outer tie rods and new LCA bushings.

Remember talking about using a drill bit to remove LCA bushings? Well, unless you cut out the one piece sleeve on ours you can't. I ended up trying the bottle jack method after letting them sit in Liquid Wrench for a bit. Less then 10 minutes and a little heat later and the passenger sides are both out.

Might as well get the gusset kit for the LCA mounts before they crack like mine did since you have everything a part. Ill post pics later of the cracks and of the gusset kit

Well damn! Sounds like my truck hahah
Glad it’s not anything too serious. Just work really. Maybe @eimkeith can come up with a stronger solution for the D bushing clamp thing. I’ve had to straighten mine so many times. I’m sure eventually it’ll crack.

So that drill solution doesn’t work on our bushings? Bummer. I wanted you to try it.

He’s got a 3rd gen 4runner. We don’t have that issue like you guys do. I’m sure we’ll eventually crack the mounts but they aren’t known for it

Yep. My front lockers leaking pretty bad though. I'll try a short term fix so I can wheel for a bit but eventually ECGS will be getting a call. Funny thing, the "fix" I used for my rear locker actually worked. The rear holds air for at least 5 minutes again before the compressor cycles.

Most of the work is done. Just gotta put the drivers side LCA back in tomorrow and button it back up.

That was for the internal seals that everyone had been having issues with?

Yep. I joked about it with Chase from ECGS before I did it. I had a trip planned and didn't have the time to get the diff to them. I asked if there's anyway that would void warranty. He assured me it would not. He also asked if it worked to please let him know. lol

Now if only I could come up with a solution to keep my copper line from getting eaten after pulling the 3rd. Hahaha.
