I am afraid to add it up but I think the reno is somewhere north of 150k but south of 200k

And taxes are due soon as well.

Hopefully it all clears up soon. You'll get everything handled over the next year or two and be right back to wheeling. House poor is a very real phrase and half the reason I didn't buy in the last couple years.

Yeah I make good money so it will be fine. Just have a short term cash flow problem.

House before locker and gears.

But what a sweet rig I could have built.

Totally would have been mall rated

Yeah I went the other way due to single income and prices jumping through the roof. Now I need a job before I can buy something.

Just take out an extra 8-10 grand on the loan and get it done. lol

I managed to build my rig at the same time I worked on the house. I'm a carpenter so it was only material costs on my end. It was fun trying to get both done though.

"Hey babe, this grouts gotta dry so I'm going into the garage for a bit"
"This dry wall mud takes about 12 hours to dry so I'll be in the garage till tomorrow"

I got my ass handed to me on more than one occasion for putting the rig on a higher priority then the house though so you're making the right call.

Been reading into my clutch issues on the Jetta since it's been getting worse. May need a new slave cylinder. :headwall:

It's been great saving gas tooling around town but this car will be the death of me. Not worth selling at this point because I need the gas saving as long as this is the last fucking issue.

No. It sinks to the floor then I have to pull it back up with my foot to shift. Not every single time though. Was reading I should check my brake fluid, but it should be fine.

When I put a new clutch in my dad's civic last year, all I had to do was bleed some fresh oil through. The pedal stuck to the floor too. Oil was 10 years old.

Mine shares the brake fluid. We just flushed the system when I got it because I had a bad rear wheel cylinder. So fluid is fresh.
